I hated those oem rims in pictures but the day I saw them in reality they felt NOT BAD and then when I got my car they felt NOT BAD AT ALL and then after experimenting with a few designs I realised that the designers have really thought a lot while putting these rims and they overall really compliment the car. Full Silver ones are now old school in my eyes.
The only acceptable alternate would be oem 17s from Touring version.
Also there is a slight issue with almost all aftermarket wheels available in case you put them on Civic X: they all have a lesser offset value while the hubs on X are already more towards outside of the body compared to previous models. As a result the tyre gets out of the wheel arch. This problem wasn't there in older models because oem wheel was too much inside and lesser offset brought the wheel out but still perfectly almost aligned (slightly inside) with aftermarket ones. The max offset with 7 inch width to look decent on X is 40mm (5mm different than stock). More than that added by extra width of aftermarket rims, they protrude out of the body to make it look like a duckling. That's my taste you may differ. But be careful with rim width and offset when selecting rims.
And an advice: there is no point in swapping oem 16s for afternarket 16s. If at all you want to change get 17s. Aftermarket 16s will make it more non Oriel or Turbo and more like a hardtop in terms of visual presence
