Hi everyone, salam, i want to know about any guy who is reliable in providing genuine leather seats for Honda civic, and also any suggestion or advise for android unit, as i got my civic as standard one without navigation and leather seats. Got stuck in mud after some rain in karachi... morning time both front tyres are in some 3in mud Alhumdulillah got it out after a while with a push by 5 people which is the only help i can get at that time at this place...

Respected forum members,
We recently sold our honda city 2015 in order to upgrade our vehicle. We have a choice of two vehicles, one is civic 1.8 and the second one is elantra. The thing is, 90% of the times, I will be the only person in the car. Now what I prefer is sportier drive as compared to comfortable drive. Yes, I know this may sound odd. I have driven civic 1.8 and I am in love with its driving pleasure where as when I drove grande pre-facelift, I hated its drive because it was just too comfortable. It did not give me that sportier drive feeling which I got while driving civic. Now my question is, how is elantra's drive as compared to civic? Is it similar to grande or civic? In terms on driving experience only. I also loved the fact that the dashboard of civic is placed slightly lower which helps me sit much lower in my seat as well, as I do not have to increase the height of the seat.

I own Civic X since 2016 Allhamdolillah. I have driven Elantra extensively and then bought another Civic X. End of story

The cabin feel and size of Elantra is a total put off. It is more of a glorified City for me

I also did friendly runs and was absolutely willing to lose badly from a 2.0 but to my surprise Elantra couldn’t give 1.8 Oriel a gap of more than the hood and more surprisingly after 80-90 Civic starts leaving Elantra behind. I have a video of these runs and a lot of members here who personally know me have seen it. Anyone else wants me to share it may PM me Whatsapp contact

Moreover I can clearly predict from your vocabulary and language used that you want a Civic, so get where your heart’s at instead of regretting and thinking what if I had bought the Civic which I wanted to instead of Elantra

Elantra is a good family car when its compared with civic i have only taken test drive but if you are the only one driving most of the time i guess its not worth the pain civic has been around for a while n there are known issues which are resolved and wont be hectic compared to Hyundai.
I will suggest to opt for civic oriel.
Turbo is not an option now since booking is closed otherwise that is the best option in terms of power acceleration n sportier ride

Yes exactly. I was wishing to go for a turbo model but today I called my contact at Honda Point and she told me that turbo will not come back for at least 3 months because of issue of parts sourcing from Japan. I even asked her if there is any turbo variant which I can buy by paying premium as she responded in negative.

Fully agree.Elantra is just a new kid around the block.Its also an old generation with a manual handbrake.Civic has some issues which vary from car to car and at different time spans.Gentleman must change the tyres if he makes the decision to go for Civic.
