On the other hand the door panel of my Honda City was faded after 50K. And I bought that car brand new. Could be a case of Honda Atlas cutting corners here as well.

My 2016 Civic X hit a huge pothole type thing on the road, and now the Silencer is making noise from this part of the silencer:

So I went to Honda, and they said that silencer will need to be replaced. PKR 56000 + Labour 5650 = PKR 61650.

Is there any other option? Should I go to local mechanic to get this part of the silencer repaired? Is it ok to get it repaired? Please advise.

My one is 55k driven, the interior door handles have lost their silver coating but window switches are fine.

My car is 42k km driven and the door handles are in a worse condition compared to your car but window switches are perfectly fine. It is a very well-kept car but these things happen regardless I guess.

Normal . Door handles are like this in my honda.

If so, get it replaced from them...

From the accent I deduce you from khi. Try Salim ustad under gizri bridge. Few of my friends got their exhaust piping related work done from him. If its repairable he would let you know otherwise he may arrange you a good piece from sher shah

I haven't done any work from any one from them... Call both of them tell them your problem... get estimates... and just then you find good visit him...

BTW, on Jamshed road there are many shops for the silencer work, down piping etc... so you can say there is a market of silencer work..

Buddy I haven't been to salim ustaad as I never had any such issue but few of my friends with civic turbos went for their exhaust and downpipe related issues. Rest choice is urs. Visit both, no harm in getting 2nd opinion.
You prolly have to ask a shop or two for directions, shopkeepers and mechanics know each other

There is a difference in the size and code of original and this one. Original is honda 598 and the other is honda 578. Will it make any difference? Is there any problem?
