Hardtop turbo is a reality. . 3s mechanical staff has driven it in their training in Lahore at the time of civic x launch!

Venom's antidote is venom so as turbo for turbo. Civic x can only be smoked by an Altis if its a turbo variant. @salik990 is right the chip can't do better than squeezing 15bhp at max out of Altis and non turbo civic which is good to match vezel but not good enough to catch civic turbo. .. and turbo civic equipped with 215bhp & 255nm of torque is a whole new story with Unichip .. attaining 200+ speed in around 20 secs!

Unichip turbo behind in que getting card also.
Altis guy floors it hard in pride to start off his journey and accelerate it to 120km/hr as soon as he can, feeling fast & furious hearing the engine roar, ignorant of his back/side view mirror.
As soon he Reaches the 120km/hr mark and began to cruise -realizes to glance over the mirrors. .. witnesses a 230km/hr+ Unichip turbo civic flyby virtually making Altis a stand still spectator even running at 120km/hr placing the driver in shell shock... disappearing right infront of him even with those helpless paddle shifters. Putting that pride into dusts in just under 30 secs of the very start and the rest of the journey to last in envy..

Chasis code change proposal of civic x with upgraded suspension setup declined. . Civic 2017 models to bear same chassis code.

Any update on new suspension setup ? Has they started delivery of updated batch?

No changes for corolla mate...as I am closely monitoring Indus for the couple of months due to Revo and Fortuner.
Indus is in emergency state these days dealing with huge ReVo demand orders.
Heard people claiming corolla facelift in July but as for now no such moves by Indus have been reported neither any vendor activity. .

Bro My friend who works in indus,s port qasim plant has already seen the facelifted corolla in the plant. And indus have already started working on the facelift. So the facelift could be launched by indus any time soon.
By the way Fortuner is also under production at a speed of 2 cars perday.

Guys - My 1.8 oriel is due to arrive on Feb 16th, however, the dealership has not asked me to deposit the remaining payment yet. Should I do it myself? or wait for them to call and ask?

My Dear I agree with your statement regarding Turbo vs Grande thats why i told that Turbo smoked me and its true like a tiny dot........

Yes it is a personal preference of opting for civic or corolla but an enthusiast and Honda lover should know the diff between EXI & VTi as well as 1.8 vs 1.5T.......

Have you gone through a drag test in which How a 1.5Turbo smoked 9 Gen 2.0L liter CivicSi in US?.....Then How come baray baray Tyres wali 1.8....acha bhagay gi......
The Tyre size is designed to Handle power, torque, handling, traction & stability of 1.5T......
Good thing done by Atlas is 1.8 buyer don't need to upgrade the tyre size which 90% youngsters do....

I still haven't come across any good mats available locally for the civic. Still using the complementary floor mats provided with the purchase of the car but their quality is pathetic as they're already torn from the hell of the shoe.

Interesting responses
1. The speed limit of 120 on motorway morally BINDES U TO REMAIN IN LIMITS and not to touch 230 etc
2. My point to bypass (not smoked) Grande was simple: in a rush scenario; on 120 plus que ; the S mode is SUPERIOR indeed. Offcourse the offended Grande will indeed smoke my 1.8 ultimately but at the cost of safety and risk (just to prove its worth)
3. I have seen grande struggling ; while 1.8 calmly gaining and overtaking it (unsafe but without hassle or pain in neck)
4. For the Turbo; goodluck winning races but on A speed limited roads I see no diff in models in overtaking a que

Buddy wait for a call from them. At least thats what i'd do. If sending payment to them yourself guarantees delivery date then why not go ahead. Do contact the dealership and ask them about the info.

Very good scenario of how the Turbo can smoke every car on the planet. Now can we move forward to more mature discussions on this forum for everyone's sake. Thank you.

This goes for everyone please, enough with the turbo can smoke this, oriel cannot smoke this, grande can smoke that but not this. Come on. Toyota makes excellent cars and so does Honda, Corolla has its own place and Honda can never remove it from there and Honda has its own place and Toyota cannot replace it. Each to its own. There's more to cars than 0-100.

Contact your sales rep, he will tell you if its time for payment or not. In my case (also 1.8 Oriel) kept following up with the sales rep and he let me know when was the right time to make the remaining payment.

Followed up with my sales rep today, car is ready in Lahore awaiting transport to Karachi. Hoping for next week delivery. Website date was 31st Jan.

And when exactly did you book and when u made the final payment? Actually the sales rep I booked with left the dealership. Talked to someone else, and he said they have a delivery date of Feb 16th, whereas the website shows Feb 28th. He asked me to keep in mind about making the rest of the payment in the mid of this month. I am assuming, that dealership calls themselves too if the customer hasnt paid the final payment until the due date?
