I will be picking up my car (Oriel) from dealer this Thursday (Arrived already to dealer on 8th March). What checks should I perform? Any questions to ask dealer? What paper work should I receive along with car?

Open the hood and check hood stopper on both sides. check panel gaps (body and interior plastics). check for any paint chips because my car came with paint chips but luckily my dealership opened up new and they didn't have glass coating to apply on my car so they said, when you come for glass coating we will repair it.

Better is to check your car in broad day light... or bhai car k andarr bahir ho ker ooper neechay her jaga sa chk ker laina ap... take good time and jab tak tasalli na ho dont sign the papers... the salesman would try to get the delivery paper signed from you as soon as possible but screw him. Your money n your car... check each n everthng... anythng is expected from these thugs.
Sometime color has minor scratches that go away with "meguair scrarch out" and they have it with them. Check rims for scratches and do check under-carriage of the car... inspect fabric/leather, any scratches on headlights n rear lights, fender lights...
in short check with a microscope coz i guarantee you that the moment u sign the papers and leave the dealership they will become alien right-away...
Warrant booklet of car, battery, headunit remote, invoice, 2 remotes, tools in trunk...

Yupp....When i received my car it has a no. of minor very minor scratches which i pointed out prior taking delivery...they used scratch out to cleaned them up...and even after detailed checkup and pointing out so many scratches my car still got a minor scratch on driving side mirror frame...dont have scratch out in personal other wise i would have cleaned it up by myself.....So check your car in detail....new cars do have minor scratches so make sure clean them up before taking ur car out....Wish you best of luck and Congratulations..:)...

Can someone please tell me how to switch off the navigation unit on oriel. I hold the power button for more than 2 sec but the icons on the sides remain on and when ever I start the car again, navigation unit restarts automatically and the last played screen is displayed. Ideally it should be the screen with Honda emblem displayed on it.Regards

just lower the brightness on the screen. i think the touch buttons on side always stay on.

Just finished 2100 Km in 2 months on my Red Turbo.....2 visits from Lahore to Nathia Gali and Multan....during this time used Shell V Power, TOTAL HOBC and Total Premium+ 92 Ron....no knocking at all...smooth....no issues at all...Navigation system is funtastic and helped a lot when I completly lost....no stuck....or hanging what soever....when you are in mood no body can pass you...instantly jumps to 190+ Km/ hr....fun to frustrate people by overtaking them while staying in middle lane....One thing I really most enjoyed without doubt is catchy Red color...especially for Childeren and females....people just stop and look at you...trust me you are paid back

Got one of my side mirrors stolen 1.5 weeks ago from Khy-e-Bukhari, Phase 6 DHA. Heard and saw that many civic mirrors are being stolen. So guys be careful.

Oh...yes....BG Luxo....Zinda Pinda bad....I feel no problem...even in rain in nothern areas no issue at all....I used a lot Japanese...Bridgestone etc. On my previous 2010 civic and 2005 city....but to my bad luck may be happened only with me that they got puncture a lot.....secondly they are soft and pot holes on road deshaped my tyres very quickly....after annoyness I then put euro tyres by general...and believe me put that in 2011 in civic and in 2016 I sold civic and surprizingly not a single puncture in that....or deshape....General tyres are made for Pakistani Roads... especially when there are a lot construction work still in Lahore better to stick with BG Luxo...

Can someone update the registration cost of Oriel in Lahore with invoice of Rs. 2787400 (2499000+4000+150000+74900+59500). Is it mandatory these days to get the car registered from the dealership or you can do it on your own? Thanks

Got one of mine stolen from outside my house last week (Kh-e-Badar Phase 7, DHA). Unbelievable!

Seems like its an easy way to make money for the thieves. The high price of these mirrors is one cause. Another reason could be if it can be detached without much effort as compared to other cars?

I booked 1.8 Oriel from Honda City Sales on March 2, I was given Relationship Ref # on March 10 but still Honda website is not accepting this number, sales person said that its going to take 2 to 3 weeks before this number gets accepted on the website, Is this normal or do I need to do something about it.

Its normal bro... usually takes 2-3 weeks... no issue in it.
By the way what delivery date u got?
