Ceramic has more shine as compared to Glass but the thickness of coating is a little difference as Glass 1 layer is more than ceramic 1 layer. Plus more and more coating of ceramic does a slight refraction of light because of difference in each layer.
Since i drive a lot so may be glass coating is better for me since its more thick but if you want wet gloss u will need ceramic quote but please refrain from wet sanding your new car and even grating because at some time when you will paint any section of car due to accident even bumper the difference will be felt a lot because of thickness of paint.
One thing has to be understood that thickness what so ever does not mean that car becomes scratch proof. Swirls will be there if you dry dust. So if you want your car protected then just 1 or 2 layers are enough. Also it wont get hydrophobic after few weeks also whatever u do. Its an added property you get at start.....!
