Any recommendation about Oriel tires, should i really change them or they are good to go. At the moment not facing any concern about tires.

They are good to go. But If you decide to change the tyres go for Advan DB, Bridgestone Turanza or Continental CC5

So the last 7 or 6 digits of the booking number are to be used to check delivery status?
And how long honda website takes to be updated normally after the booking so i get to see the status update there?

That's my car buddy. I got these seats done from Zamzama Karachi in the Optimum Motorsports lane. However, leather is something you will not be able to find. These are done in leatherette.

Has anyone noticed a small crackling type noise coming from the front right drivers side dashboard in oriel pretty much continuously even on bump free roads?
Not talking about the tick tock vsa noise which comes sometimes. This is a almost continuous crackling sound

Yes i have noticed that too and once you keep your hand on the area above meter on dashboard, that sound disappears. Although its pretty negligible sound still i ll get it checked at first inspection.

check some minor stone would be there on your creen outside..
this happened with me once I got so panicked stopped many times & cleared the dashboard but it was still there & it exactly seems as it's coming from inside. then by mistake i turned on wipers & saw a small stone being thrown out & sound was no where right then.

Could the noise i am facing from oriels driver side dashboard be related to vsa modulator as discussed in this thread?

The noise is almost always there except when the car is stopped. Low speed / high speed and on smooth roads too. Very worried :s
Spoke to honda today at 1000 km service they claimed to have "fixed" it and if i hear any more noise its normal operating noise. Pretty sure a continuous electric type noise cant be normal :s

Since Turbo production has been stopped , now i am looking towards 1.8 Oriel .. and i know its a big gap between these two in terms of performance on papers .. how is the drive and power of 1.8 ? is it sluggish or just OK ??

The gap between oriel and turbo isn't that huge...It is substantial I will admit ...but this isn't a sports sedan or anything...Honestly people on this thread have completely twisted the facts..Bas nam me turbo a gia to bhai gari nhi rocket ban gai...

And this BS is not helping prospective buyers... ... ...1.8 oriel still delivers a good punch..especially on sports mode..for me the upgrade was great as I was jumping from 2004 civic to civic x...
Although if you have had a reborn or last gen civic ..you might not feel much of a jump...

My advice try to get a test ride if you can from any close friend/ relative...and I am sure you will see that oriel is more than capable of delivering a good punch...
