I have been to home town Mianchanu and back yesterday........1550km driven right now mixed fuel in the car. HOBC from Total lahore and toped up with regular 13 liters from Total Sahiwal.......... its fine no abnormality.
along with certain encounters with grandes, 1.8 oriels, 1.5 aspire city as well as 250G mark X...........still got back home with around 14 to15km/L Avg........not bad isn't it?!!!......The max i extracted is 22km/L from Sahiwal to mianchanu..........I think it depends on how you extract......i have got the same figures with previous city and grande but with casual mixed fast/normal driving Turbo still gives nice figure.....

Lets see. But i agree with you that Honda Atlas has zero concern for the customers. Had there been a slight concern these minor issues would not have been raised in the first place.

We as a nation are biased in every way. If one of us goes to a restaurant and the burger is not made correctly we start bashing the restaurant on food forums and what not. That burger costed around say Rs.500 at max. As a comparison a car of worth Rs.3 Million is having multiple issues and what not and people on this same forum are defending as if it is totally alright to have a few minor issues.

So lets be honest. It is THIS very mentality which has eventually ensured that the Car Manufacturers like Honda Atlas can get away with these things.

All I can say is that finally we deserve such faulty cars then since the majority seems totally aloof with it.

Oriel Owners -

Has anyone applied sudden breaks (Like moving on 60-70 km/h and applying full break to bring the vehicle to halt) and observed a "metallic thud" kind of a sound? Or driving on a very rough surface and applying sudden breaks and a grinding sound and feel from the break?

Grinding or drilling effect sound is due to the ABS applied and its totally normal thing...dont know what do you mean by "thud" kind of sound...honestly havnt tried 70 to 0 through brakes so far...

Well, from the sound, didnt sound normal. Havent experienced this in any other car equipped with ABS. As for the other thud thing, try 70 to 0 and you will get to know what i mean

Try downloading the youtube downloader software on your computer and then convert the files to iPhone format from there. Videos will work perfectly fine from USB in that format.

Another thing which i would like to mention, I feel that the theory about this particular civic getting heated up more than normal does have some truth to it. On 5000 kms checkup, the mechanic pointed out to me that the coolant is below minimum level. The battery was dry. The car feels more heated up when one opens the hood. Since the 5000 kms checkup, I have travelled another 1000 kms and a few days ago, checked the battery liquid level and it was dropped again, not to a significant level though. But I fell if I keep it running for 3000-4000 kms without checking the battery liquid level, it will dry up.

It's fascinating to see so many faults mentioned here. I've not encountered a single issue yet except the battery water level issue and that too is hardy a problem if you check it once in two weeks. Just came back from Nathiagali in my Oriel and everything worked perfectly. Cruise Control and Brake Hold features work like a charm. Got 15 - 16 km/l average on Motorway.

Depends upon how much you are observing the issues. I tend to be a keen observer. The issues however, I have found out are not like major ones. A few rattlings here and there. Battery issue seems to be with almost all the cars. The noise i mentioned turns out to be due to ABS as pointed out by one of the worthy members here. Rest a few glitches with the break hold and that probably sums it all up.

Dear I have been driving for last five months. Based on observations highlighted on this forum, I have checked battery level and water level . I haven't found any discrepancy as yet.

As I said earlier, these issues might be related to some specific batch with glitches from suppliers of Atlas.

yai gari nuhi biwi hai har ik garhi upnai unique problems kai sath sara qismat ka khail hai ya allah meri qismat uchi likh dai mean kum problems kai sath warna biwi aur without problem .......ha ha
