i had the same problem. get the wheels balanced from honda and get it done under warranty. don't pay them anything.

Aoa i hope civic fam is doing well i have a query. Im using civic x 1.8 and confused between fuel im only using 97 octane some people told me that it may have some adverse effects on engine. Is is correct or suggest me what octane i should use.

Now more than a month using PSO Altron 97 X...near about 5 to 6 tank refill. ...my Turbo is smooth like butter and honey

Hey! what mileage is civic supposed to give in the beginning? mines giving 4.8 km/l without eco mode (70 kms driven)

Even in the start 1000km i was not getting this low average.....it has been discussed various times that average of the car is not anything standard...its completely depends upon the style of driving and the traffic conditions....the least i got was 6km/lit which was because of chocked air filter...check the air filter and observe your driving style..for the tip..try to keep your car RPM below 2000 or upto 2000, you will get the good average...

Guys i felt a bit of wobble cruising at 85/90 kph, is it common? the car is brand new, would i have to get the wheels balanced?

I've always doubted if wheels are properly balanced by Honda when delivering new car. But didnt do anything. A few months ago when my car mileage was 15k kms, I got the wheels balanced just for the heck of it. I could see weights already there, which means Honda did try to balance them when car was delivered. But after balancing car is silky smooth at high speeds, in a way it wasnt before.

My advice - if you know a good tire shop, there's no harm getting wheels balanced again. Nothing can go wrong, it won't cost too much and will last a while before balancing is needed again.

I would suggest to let it done by the dealer itself....why you would pay for the balancing...

Sad to know about your loss...
Only solution is repaint, as I can see base through these scratches and its prone to rusting if not treated timely

Sad to see your loss. The grinding is deep and has removed paint as far as I can see in the pictures. If so you will need a repaint.

I saw even 3s shop paint above the scratched surface and filled the area with pouting ( dont know technical name) than paint. IS sanding is not required or completely sand the 1st layer and than repaint to look like genuine
