living in ISB and using Hioctane ever since i bought civic 1.5 and really happy to have such a hot beast, planning to visit northern areas naran/hunza and i know i wont be able to find Hioctane there, i come up with the octane booster solution, so wanted to know if anyone here used octane booster with normal petrol ? and does it really works? if yes which brand and from where can i shop in ISB and how can i exactly use it (quantity etc), i search few on the internet and find liquimoly ?

If you have got software updated then you don’t have to worry . Get Hi octane from ISB then get It topped up and Total pump from Balakot.

Octane booster is not recommended as it does more harm than good for this car

How was the road condition? Any rough patches? Did the car underside touch the ground at any place? Asking because i am thinking about doing a tour to khunjraab too

my Civic is making a strange noise since a month its like a creaking sound
when you turn steering wheel to full right or full left and car is moving at very slow speed a sound comes from the car like kar kar kar ! what could be the issue ? my car is just 9.5k driven

No worries...its a common steering rack problem in Civic X....your car steering rack needs replacement....get it done... under warranty ofcourse...

Road condition is fine, except a 2 hour patch at KKH around Chilas, where there is old bouncy road. Also, if you're going via Kashmir, instead of Abbottabad, remember that a long patch on hills before Kohala is uncarpeted where they've put fresh bajri.

As for car hitting, generally it's NO but no one can say for sure, because mostly it's the small landslides from time to time which cause the road to become uneven at specific points. For example I saw a specific spot after Lulusar lake where I heard every oncoming car hitting (Corolla, City, Civic) due to road becoming very uneven after landslide damage.

Road condition is very good throughout except some rough patches going through Chilas but the potholes from Naran to Babusar Top slow you down very much. The car’s underside never touched the ground or any speed bumps but you have to be careful to avoid potholes.

As I said to @Nabeel_Ali before, to my eyes Civic X ko koi dhang ke rims suit nahin kerte. Personally I prefer the OEM RS 17"s.

True, only oem rims suit this car. In my opinion the oem 16s look better than other aftermarket bigger sizes or one should go for oem 17s. Whatever rim it is, should be oem because that makes the car look decent and original.

Aftermarket rims look fake and specially the ones with lower offset where tyres come out like a fat granny’s swollen ankles or an ugly duckling

Adding to your reply Ali bhai, aftermarket fake rims are also not safe as they are prone to getting cracked easily because of the potholes we have. One large thud and it’s a goner.
