I had driven almost 100 kms after 0 range at a very slow speed on rough roads in search of gas station once when I was lost somewhere between khanewal to lodhraan. Due to under construction road I made a wrong turn to avoid that road and lost in the village areas which navigation as well as Google maps doesn't know if I was travelling on a road or inside the crops 🤣 it took almost 3 hours to find the highway.

I have a questing regarding to curing time of new car paint. car are assembled and delivered in the same day. Did the panels like fender hood and bonnet's etc paint is cured. Do they need some time before wax and sealed?

Although i m using total hioct in turbo since I bought it in dec16, but for the last two months feels expensive .. to be on totally on hioct..

As far as my knowledge goes it takes approximately 10 days after a car is born and till it gets ready for delivery. Still to be on a safe side I give my new cars a time of upto 2 weeks before anything is done.

I maybe wrong though and could be corrected by someone having better knowledge

Lots of factors involved e.g. how many more assembly processes occur after painting, how long does car lie at the factory after completion, transportation time to another city, how long does car lie at the dealership, etc.

Generally 30 days is taken as a safe time before 'sealing' a new paint through wax, etc. I've personally waxed a new re-paint on a car panel the same day - and it was absolutely ruined.

Also many car care products are labelled 'body shop safe'. That's how you know whether you can use it on a new paint or not.

In my opinion and interactions with sales team of honda i come to know my car will dispatch, on 23 or 24th july production. It seems at the same day out of factory. it ll get 4 days to reach karachi. Safer side ten days untill than delivery. I am curious regarding to assembly point. I dontknow whether they dip whole car in paint than let it to cure. Than assembled or for finishing. Any one have assembly line idea. Well i will also try to check honda atlas

My car assembly date was 18 april which is mentioned on inside of door panel dispatched on 19 and i got my car in khi by 23rd....

Honda atlas says car dispatched on 11th july. Honda Rahim yar khan dealership says your car will be delivered by the end of the month. I mentioned about the conversation with Honda Atlas representative. Suddenly the dealership guy's statement changed. Sir your car has been dispatched and is on the way. Any forum member pls guide what could be their motives.

Dealership wants to sell it on own ? Or they cannot do that?

A frend in honda production deptt also said that they had similar complaints previously about this dealership. Lets see what happens
