Dear, we all must understand that the high octane provided in Pakistan is chemically generated high octane and not the one which is produced through advanced refining process. The chemicals used are mangnese and other inorganic materials which raise the octane number but after combustion leave harmful residues in the cylinder chambers. Resultantly it is reducing engine life.
Best bet is to stick to regular fuel which has not been chemically modified for octane numbers. We might face slight power loss but it will not spoil engines.
All refineries in Pakistan dont have the capability to produce refined High Octane. That is why the government had to impose a timeline to achieve proper high octane facilities by refineries.
Rest decision is yours brothers.
