sir i dont have civic X but i am an owner of audi a3 1.8 tfsi, attock fuel is quiet good. Last year i was having very minor knocking issue but since i have shifted to attock hobc my car is knock free from last one year Al ham du Lillad. You should tryna use attock trust me.

Well I have a quick question as how much should it cost normally at Honda dealership to repaint rear bumper ... I had a tragic incident where someone .. hit my parked car from behind .. minor scratches ... Just wondering cost of this job @ dealership ... Thanks!

Its the pcv valve making the noise not the pipe
By pinching the pipe, you cut it off and hence it stops operating and the sound goes away. You hear it from the belt area because the pcv is right beside back-most pulley of the belt. My 9th gen makes this exact noise too randomly.

can you post picture of PCV valve and pipe. I tried pinching the pipe coming out of belt area and the similar noise started to appear and when i released it stoped, some kind of irregular behaviour.

Guys, has anyone faced an issue with exterior door handles paint? It seems to be peeling off gradually from between the mettalic and plastic (smart entry sensor) part. If yes, was this replaced under warranty?

Salaam guys. Today I ran into a very weird problem. Today randomly while in parked mode, I decided to rev my car. To my surprise, the car didnt go above 4000 rpm. So I am like what the heck is going on because I have it 6km driven and coincidently I have never pushed it past 3k rpm. There is no engine or oil check light although I could see a bit of white smoke when the car hit 4k rpm. Is there any rev limiter at P or N mode or is there something wrong with my car engine ? Please help, I am going paranoid.

In standstill it is not allowed to go beyond 4000. Just relax and if you have any doubt, take it to highway and push it to see it for yourself .

Yes, it's a rev limiter for parking and neutral. It's supposed to prevent engine damage.
Honda City has it as well.

Salam all knows about the quality of Honda infotainment system .it was irritating so get a punch ,now I want to know how much will this punch cost and will need complete change or screen .if complete change then what is the best infotainment system

No worries its normal..... while moving at 50km/hr..... put it in N..... here limiter will be disabled....

I am sorry but that's just dumb. I mean it's your car and you can do whatever the heck you want with it but one shouldn't treat their car like this. At the end of the day it's your loss.
