Where is GPS antenna located ? I mean on PKDM Civic ?

Google maps is my go to app for traffic updates in Pindi Islamabad.......i dont rely on traffic police anymore either to know which area is open or blocked.

Im sure if ur display unit is running on android and it can work with a viable 3g/LTE or wifi connection then google maps can be easily used.

The only doubtful thing is the non availability of GPS. As google maps pops up the question box of turning your location on or not. Thats the only thing which could, in my naakis raye, hinder its function in the display unit.

Apparently google maps turn by turn navigation is not working from within the application. Haven't logged in to the App Store to update the app as Turn by turn google maps navigation is available in Pakistan. Let's see.

Shall give update once I've logged into the PlayStore and checked if Google maps needs an update to get it working (If anyone else has done the same please let us know). GPS location works just fine otherwise.

Since a lot of people will think about changing tyre size. Check attached images and 215/60-16 is the worst size while 225/45-17 is smaller. Remaining are fine within a 3% variation. Comparisons calculated with 215/55-16 stock size

Seems like lots of parts have arrived at Honda factory. I went pass the factory yesterday and there was a large number of trucks with containers parked all around the factory and on the main road too. Never saw that many trucks there.

For both, drive them both and see the difference. I've never driven a vezel before but have seen its interior and have been inside it and it is a treat to be in the vehicle I must say. However some people have complained of its hard suspension. Civic X has a nice soft suspension this time and I like it a lot. I have a 1.8 oriel and the accelerator response is sweet as well.

So try both vehicles and see what comes of it. At least that way the opinion will be your own and there won't be any regrets.

As for other issues with a turbo X, yes wait and see and let the dust settle. Neither of the vehicles are going anywhere. Time will tell what people say about their respective Turbo models.

Which shop in rwp would you guys recommend for leatherite seat covers and door paneling. Friend of mine needs to get for his civic x.
Please don't recommend the seat cover shop next to dubai auto, Their attitude wasn't very entertaining to say atleast.

Need a little help, anyone have contacts or acquaintances in honda atlas factory, someone who can tell me when I would be getting my car. If not the exact date, then atleast the week. I don't trust these dealerships anymore they wont tell me anything straight. I tried calling the factory as well, and after maybe 20 times when I do get through they tell me hold then hang up. Sigh any help would be appreciated

Guys can anyone comment on the minor jerks in the transmission being felt when crushing at around 50-60 km/h and RPM is around 2K?

Till now have felt them around 6-7 times and it doesn't seem normal to me.

Well honestly since this is my first CVT car after 2004 Vario City so I would also want to know about this behaviour as well. I too have felt it 1-2 times, very minor and not that noticeable once while I was accelerating/cruising between 1500-2000 rpm and speed was about the same, probably 50 give or take. Slight feeling for a second maybe. Tried to notice but didn't experience it again.

Mine has done 1100 kilometres. Asked the 3S and they said could very rarely happen. Is it true?

you could be looking at fuel quality affecting engine tuning. I suggest you visit your "friendly" neighborhood Honda Dealer who will probably end up tuning the vehicle for you. I also suggest you buy petrol from renowned Company Owned outlets....usually less mixing there.

Hmm. I've had the jerks for about 10-15 seconds every time and it really makes me wonder what in the world is going on, minor jerks I must say, and then whoosh, it's all gone until the next time it happens which is very random.

I doubt 15-20 seconds is normal. Would like to know from others if what I mentioned is normal or not, the 1-2 second mild jerk very rare observed only once or twice. But i doubt what you are saying is normal.

Hmm. By now I've been filling the car up from Caltex DHA KHI religiously and that too from the same fuel station I used for my reborn for a long long time however I shall try and change the fuel to high octane and/or change the station to see if it helps.

No worries. I shall update this forum on what helped and what didn't etc. That's what we're here for
