You are correct. Being into Automotive lighting since 2012 and having vast hands-on experiences with HIDs, Projector retrofit and LEDs. I can say that Photum is truly a unique LED product with exceptional qualities one can imagine being an Plug and Play LED headlight Bulbs. Some points i noted about them that is :-
1. Bulbs are tested on the correct distance that is 30-35ft along with the correct use of Lux meter.
2. Photum is highly evident giving out a proper beam pattern, Glare free output, OEM like cutoff, overall a perfect distribution of light and a very bright beam.
3. Results are as per the claims, unlike cheap leds and aliexpress leds saying 150w, 70W , 15000 lumens lol.
4. Having a separate LED driver which is very important in managing all the LED power handling separately and efficiently.
5. They are canbus compatible. Means they will be perfect to install in Prius, hybrid cars, german and european cars without any error and flickering.
6. Noise-less fan.
7. 8 months replacement warranty which is very good because its quite an headache claiming warranty from aliexpress.
Overall pretty decent LED headlight plug and play bulb i have seen yet in reasonable price(as per above qualities) and a pretty good/safer alternative to HID in terms of plug and play bulbs and brightness. Perfect for car owners looking to upgrade their oem halogens.
