Does anyone facing problems in Honda Civic X; nagging sound from steering and there is some problem in ac condenser, if yes, then tell how can the problem be curbed???

Bought the car used. It has had its service at 15k km. Currently it is on 19k km.
So I probably will get it serviced soon. Oil life indicator shows 5600km now. What oil would you recommend. I have a 2017 turbo.

Is this LM oil fully synthetic? Is 0w20 recommended in the manual?

I would advise to continue using Honda 0w-20 as it is still in warranty period .

Yes 0w-20 is more suitable to Turbo as thin oil at startup prevents engine damage .

Yeah that’s perfect. The oil indicator should not be followed in this instance however it should drop down to a lot less than 5600 coz last service was done at 15k odo and you’re 19k now so it’s 4000kms driven on the odo. Hence time to change the oil any time now. 4000km odo pe kar lain ya 5k. Your personal choice.

As for the 0W-20, this specific engine needs that thin oil to travel faster and lubricate ASAP. It was designed for this car so stick to the Honda 0W-20, I’ve been using that since day 1. Other than that you can always go to LM 0W-20 and test that out too for the next 4-5k kms. See how the car takes it.

Yes many of us here have faced the issue of AC system failing, claiming warranty and having the part replaced.

As for the steering, the same goes, have the dealer checked and claim for warranty (I have too) and before that, record a video of the issue at home or elsewhere in the event it doesn’t reoccur on the day of inspection. Please explain what kind of sound you hear? I hear a clanking clicking noise mostly when I do a full circle or close to it.

People said it's fuel which caused turbo engines go bonkers. But Shell V Power is 100 metal free, so it should work here, then why Atlas is not launching it? Even if they launch it now it will be priced around 4.0 million or more.

Ok show the car to the dealer ASAP and file for a warranty claim. Also record on video and make sure the sound is heard in the video too, show that and the sound physically to the warranty expert of a dealership of your choice.

Apparently I’ve been waiting on my steering rack replacement for months now. No sign of it as yet. Although I did hear that they stopped changing the steering rack or whatever it’s called and were initially just doing some repairs instead of replacing the entire assembly but the issue reoccurred in many cars so they decided to stop repairing the issue and decided to replace the part. Maybe that’s why the delay is so long as a lot have claimed for the said part.

What’s your odo and have you replaced your fuel filter if above 25k? And which fuel do you use?

But yeah a few knocks here and there should be normal as it’s adjusting the knock sensor based on the fuel you’re using among other things.

My car is almost 50k now. And i am using total fuel
50% excellium and 50% regular. I used to do 100% excellium but noticed that the car runs just as fine when with 50/50.
And warranty meri expire ho gayee hai...(i should have gone for the extended warranty)

AoA fellows, has anyone installed rear screens in oriel. I have a very interesting update.
We all know, the oriel headunit has two USB wires. So guess what, actually these are two separate units mated to single screen. I mean one USB (smart USB and Aux) belong to standard non android USB dvd player. Same Chinese type things aval in 10k.
The other USB (3G and IPOD) belongs to the Android unit.
Now comes the problem, after I purchased MMC cables from tracking world at an awfull price (3k). It came out that the video out cables only display non android USB and DVD outputs.
The android sub-unit has no output via these MMC cables and you end up using old school DVD on headrest displays

Moreover, MMC cables from tracking world are 3 cables.
1. Red jack with 2 video outs for headrest.
2. Green jack with amp audio outs (5.1).
3. Black jack for AV IN on which surprisingly factory front cam is already connected so you have to remove factory front cam jack for AV in which (new joke for all) if you connect, is not configured in the system.

It calculates the idling time when you are parked with AC ON / OFF having a burger or a juice that's why it differs. We all know that excessive idling is engine killer.....
