It was never “per seat per annum”, it was a genuine typing mistake on page 151 of the finance bill followed on next page as well because Section 231b related to registration and transfer cannot be per annum.

Will you get your car registered again each year???

Will you get it transferred to yourself each year???

Both can’t be done per annum which proves that the words PER SEAT PER ANNUM were indeed a typing error. Common sense naam ki bhi aik cheez hoti hai. One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure out it really was a typing mistake

It was missed printed in finance bill.which was amended in approved finance act. Some persons in media just tried to create chaos in society it of simple typing mistake.

Remember misprint in the election law became a violent religious fanatics movement and took us, the people of Rawalpindi and Islamabad to ride for weeks. Three hours journey to office and three hours to return, what a nightmare that was of a just 30-45 minutes journey to and from office.

Misprints can lead to disastrous aftermaths. Thanks God no loss happened this time.

I haven't seen a single one on the roads of ISB/RWP. I guess it's just too expensive.
