Hi. For the moment you won’t be able to set a claim to a part change unless it actually does produce the fault.
However the fault for me or maybe most here is when a full circle turn is done either side, left or right, which is when it makes a dreadful noise. That’s where for my cars at least, the noise began. By the passage of time the noise gets louder and louder.
The procedure (once the fault is there) will be to go to the nearest dealership, ask for a warranty expert, get him to inspect the steering there and then, have the claim done, wait for the approval, wait for the part to arrive at the required dealership, then go for install.
Sometimes you’re lucky enough to have all of the above done within a month, less than a month or at times a few months like in my case where the part is yet to be in stock sometime next month in khi.
