When someone shifts after BG experience one does get carried away because of the improvement in ride. My sister who is a noob in cars was driving earlier on Luxo and 3 days ago after I changed tyres on her Oriel also said the car isn’t making any noise while driving now and feels much more comfortable

Well ,i agree about the improvements in ride quality and i am sure the experience is better but that particular review looked a bit inflated to me. Elated state after getting new rubber is a common phenomena to be honest

I just shared my perception and opinion. I am not advocating UC6 here or any tyre brand. But this i know for sure, That BG LUXO sucks. just my own review of what i felt after the tyre change.

They will check your tyres and then offer accordingly. Mine went for 8k

I changed my car tyres from Luxo to Advan DB when my car was not even crossed 1000 hrs....and honestly i didnt feel a huge difference...yes i felt some reduction in noise but that was not something surprising....so in my opinion if you change your tyres soon after taking ur car out of the showroom you wont feel significant difference as the tyres are new... but if you change them after driving for like 15 or 20 K then you may be surprised.....

On the other side the prices of these tyres are going higher and higher so it becomes a matter of ones personal choice....for me spending some good 1 lac for extra comfort is hard to do sometimes....

It’s indeed hard to swallow the staggering cost of replacing bc luxo especially when one has to drive on constantly deteriorating conditions of roads in capital city and one such road to hell the express way.

I don’t mind noise as much as the wobbly rubber-band effect on certain speeds and believe me no amount of wheel balancing can cure that disease, both fl at my home suffer from this phenomenon as well as the new turbos that I took for test drive.

It’s either this suffering or the 50K bullet, gonna do “istikhara”

Have documents and delivery letter with you. Tyre pressure is 32 front and 30 rear as per Honda dealership

Keep varying speeds . Don't cross 100 till Bhera and 120 beyond that.

Going through the tyre debate above i would like those with BG Luxo to compare others at same mileage lets say 15 to 20k kms driven BG vs any other friend's Civic on advan DBs, MC5, UC6..... I hope it will be cleared what BG guys are driving.......

I am at 20k kms plus with Advan DBs and got a chance to drive my colleague's car with same mileage on BGss...... i won't like to put his comments after driving my car as it was notoriously abusive but one can well imagine...

It is 100% True that new BGs as compared to other tyre brands when new are almost identical in drive and feel.... It is the premature / too early deterioration factor which matters.....

even one can compare a 15k kms driven BG with a 30k km driven Contis/ Yokos etc.... neutrally one can find what he is driving on BGsssss.......

I agree. New BGs are fine, but they age horribly. One wouldn't feel too much of a difference by replacing new BGs.
