hmm...has any Turbo owner changed his oil which has higher life span??.....if yes how the oil life indicator behaved then?

Direct measurement technique is more accurate though Algorithm based is fairly close enough as well.

If it goes below 1500km, then indication comes for oil change.

After oil change, it needs to be adjusted manually through nob on meter console.

It doesn't update automatically.

Is it simply calculating the KMs from the odo??...if thats the case then I guess its using Algorithm...why i am asking all this is because suppose i change my oil which has got 10K life span....then how the system get to know that now the oil used has higher life span....Direct measurement system uses sensors to sample the oil for current flow resistance, viscosity, soot concentration etc and based on the result it shows when to change the oil or how much is %age remaining....so in my opinion Direct system is more accurate....

Based on my experience it seems a combination of both through a decision logic.

1. If mileage is below 1500km, it shows that time to change oil. When we change oil, it doesn't automatically reset it to 10000km but needs to be done manually

2. If car is driven less but oil change is above 6 months, then it shows the reduction in oil mileage which I believe is based on sensors input.

3. After the fuel issue earlier and software update, Honda has asked to change oil after 5k as per service bulletin.

Ok...well then i think its not even an Algorithm based....it sounds like it is simply calculating two parameters...one is the kms which you have to manually reset after the oil change ( No calculation from the ECU or PCM side) and the second parameter is the time when you change the oil..so its not giving the indication on actual oil condition...kind of fake Oil Life Indicator system.....anybody else has got some more detailed info on the said system of Civic X??....

Are these OEM Rims or copies? Where did you get them?

These are original OEM. Got from Chah Sultan.

Replaced with current RS Turbo design 17" Rims. Those with me were black/chrome and were better than Pakistani RS grey/chrome trim. But still replaced with these as this design have more grace than that fan type design.

Yes these look a lot better than the Pakistani RS rims.
One of the best looking OEM rim design on the 10th gen civic.

Any help will be appreciated, the vehicle is not starting.

Due to lock-down did not use the car for a week...battery was dead. I tried to jump-start from another battery but it failed. The next day got a new dry battery replaced but now the car will not start. Key is not working, I had to put it near the push start button but it shows the dashboard only. Headlights and brake lights are working but interior lights, horn, and player are not working.

The car is parked in the basement and parking brake is on...that's why it cannot be moved anywhere

Remote battery? It could be related? I will try to find the remote battery in the morning. Hopefully get it in some store.

Try to replace cells of key holder. It may be due to weak key cells

Yes a weak battery may be a factor. It's not an expensive check so start from here.

Here are instructions and type of the battery you need. It can be bought on any convenience store, watch maker, pharmacies.

Cell type is CR-2032 available at any local shop usually. To replace, slide the metal key half way out of the fob and gently twist it like you open a lock. The fob will split open
