What is special in Havoline CNG for the engine ?

Internationally I havnt seen any separate CNG/LPG oil...

well Caltex Havoline was know to be the best from many years.......Caltex Havoline CNG type is added with some more addictives for CNG use....like it burns hotter and have dry type effect.....so more heat resisting is the one quality of this type..also its anti-wear feature prevents engine wear while running on gas type fuels....! also helps not to build excessive waste deposits inside engine......!
these are some feautures........Havoline LPG/CNG Oil was also sell out in other parts of world...

use 5w-50 and ur fine for islamabad karachi lahore

ps
honda pakistan uses 20w-40 in winter aswell which is not good

damn Caltex Havoline CNG cost me 780Rs for 4 Ltr Pack....you said its cheap :S......
Shell and PSO ones cost cheaper......but quality is not upto mark..

In winters I would use 10w-30 rather then 10-40 or 20-50. Any one brand would do just makesure they are original.

Here 5w-30 is standared by most auto manuf.

Well,

I have used both in patrol engine, By rating goes to shell more suitable and durable for my car.
Exactly it gives you around 6700 km (shell synthetic)
5600 km ( havoline)
If you wish to buy a cheap oil go for honda oil it costs you 740/- only bu the grade is 10W-40W which maynt be suitable for your car.
Consult your cars manual before using or changing the oil.
the minimum 10W-40W is for winter or cold enviroment, whereas the other one is for hot. as i have used both of them i only recommend 10 W-40W , my car is 18 yrs old suzuki swift w/o CNG. and it gives best performance over the singapore packed Shell over havoline.
the choice is yours..
To use cheap oil reduces the life of your car. keep this in your mind.
if you still wish to spend more money try and ask shell dealer to provide you fully synthetic oil it will last upto 10,000kms.

well i think there comes two...
one named as Havoline Motor Oil
one as Havoline Formula
the Havoline Motor Oil is the one who'z i think cheaper than CNG one...
Havoline Formula....well i don't know but its different.....must be changed from other....!
i only used Havoline CNG......never used these two...but thats for sure...Caltex offers best which they asked for...!

After reading the above, I assume that for Karachi, it is ok to use 20W-50 for summer and 10W-40 or 10W-50 for winter? Please give your comments.

Suzuki in Pakistan and globally recommends Helix for their cars. When I got my Alto in summers it had 10W40 Helix in it. I think 10W40 and 20W50 are not much different. Diff is only of 10W.

its a difference of 50% bhai and u think its not big.
majority engine damage takes place at cold startuss. 20W is thick for winters and it takes extra time for complete circulation. during that time, year and tear is maximum.

free flow of thin oil solves the problem in got weather as well. 10W-40 is what i use throughout the year. i change it after 7500 kms. on issue at all. in fact t will feel a healthy difference in performance.
