I have civic 11th gen 23 model 15K driven up till now.
I’m considering some performance upgrades. I need assistance as i have no knowledge about it . Please guide me and where can i get this done? I only know of maxpower. How much would it cost me? What is meant by FBO? What other options do i have? Ask me questions if you need to support your answer.

Are you satisfied with the Car? How’s the noise insulation at 100-120 and also AC performance and fuel consumption? And do you have RS?

Forget insulation there is very annoying wind noise that comes through the windows 100+

I am very satisfied with the car Alhamdulilah. I have RS. Very smooth drive just like butter. Yes i got my steering rack replaced under warranty and yes my front right axel boot was damaged from the factory which i had to pay to get it replaced as rubber parts does not fall under warranty. Build quality could’ve been better and the android panel is okay but it could also be improved. Other than that i have experienced no noise at 100-120. Insulation is good and tyres are also good but yes a bit noisy.
Overall i’m happy with the car.

Fuel consumption is 10 within city and around 14-15 on highways. AC performance is really good cant ask for more.

I am in the process of buying RS and hearing very mixed reviews about it. I own a Sonata and an Aqua, right now. Will replace one of them with RS but I am sorry but cannot comprehend what you are happy with ?
Your new car had to undergo a steering rack replacement, though under warranty claim, a front axle boot with manufacturing defect. As you mentioned, build quality can be improved, infotainment is okayish and tyres are noisy.

If you have sonata 2.5 it is better than RS believe me. It has better fuel average & acceleration than RS . RS only has great looks though.
If you have sonata 2.0 then RS is better at acceleration. However, i chose RS because of brand value as it is Japanese, latest generation and that it is the top of line car in C segment whereas Sonata is a basic D segment sedan. Also that sonata is a flop car in other markets. And i personally don’t like sonata’s looks but that’s an objective thing.

That video is pure comedy. Grande doesn't hold a candle to RS (new or old - doesn't matter). Even a heat soaked 11th gen RS turbo is faster than these idiots.

As for detune claims, just to give an example Malaysian 11th gen Stock RS on dyno produces similar output as local 11th gen RS. Where is the "detune"?

This video has made me lose my trust in pakwheels. People really see it now how they openly blindly promote haval and toyota. Grande winning against RS? Are you joking me? And conveniently they only did one race. It is properly rigged. Also note how Suneel used to call out every brand model on being outdated, but he will never say the same about grande, which is currently the most outdated model in pk.

it has more weight plus the engine makes less power then the previous gen civicx turbo maybe thats why because when the owner drove the civic in the second run grande took the lead and eventually rs caught up with it as its turbo spooled late as compare to prev gen.

11th gen spools quicker than 10th gen. Weight is not the issue. It's CVT is programmed to be less aggressive on launch from stand still in exchange for added reliability over lifespan of the car/CVT. On the upside, 11th gen is better in roll on. A cvt has greatest wear and tear on accelerating from a standstill. Thats one of the reasons Toyota internationally gave a dedicated 1st gear in their CVTs (coincidentally called launch gear) to offload the burden from CVT itself.

Yes newer Toyota's now have D-CVT (Direct Shift CVT)
I currently own Toyota Raize and can feel the first gear and due to this Raize/Rocky have awesome acceleration and I can assure that NA cars are joke in front of TC cars. The way car glides on lower RPM is amazing basically effortless drive and whenever one needs power its already there just on a light press of the paddle.

Hello,

I am considering to book civic oriel.
I have a corolla cross as a crossover and I need a sedan under 10m.
I have used civic x for like 3 years and loved it apart from steering rack and air-conditioning issue.

Please share feedback and suggestions.

Civic 11th gen has a very weird wind noise issue , when car is above 100 you can hear wind noise coming inside cabin , Honda says its in all cars and nothing can be done about it, so make sure you test drive with that issue in mind

Steering racks issue is present in 11th gen as well.

Other than that the overall noise insulation is pretty pathetic and very bare bones car for the price you pay, Honda overall quality is abysmal
