I don't know what honda is thinking, they are very late in bringing the hybrid HRV as well, nothing to compete with Santa-fe, Tuscon or Sonata. They have some good options which they can bring in Pakistan. Same is the case with Toyota.

Have recently installed a slight upgrade to the stock speakers to a polk audio component system so would be grateful if any audio expert can please guide on the best eq settings for the 11th gen HU incl. the expansion & compression values as well.

Anyone here knows how to turn off the adaptive cruise and just use simple cruise ???

PKDM RS doesn't have standard cruise option like USDM which as both standard and adaptive.

no asian Civic allows turning it off. It's only available in USDM and Japanese models.

Has anyone noticed radiator fan running for longer period in civic turbo? My car is driven 1000km only and I have noticed that after an hours drive when I park the car, radiator fan kicks in and remains on sometimes even for 5-7 minutes without turning off and I just switch off the car at that time. Coolant level is ok, ac works fine and there is no other issue and no heat up etc. Honda people were also of no help saying it's automatic.

Ideally radiator fan runs automatically to bring the coolant temperature within acceptable limit. if its running for longer period, also check your engine oil level in the car.

usually when you are using the car AC the fan runs more frequently and keeps the coolant temperature in acceptable limits.

I have observed that older, lower grade or used engine oils make the car engine run bit hotter since they dont cool the engine optimally.

first step should be to check the engine oil level
2nd step change engine oil
3rd step check thermostat valve if its working properly

your automatic cooling system seems to be working fine considering that its doing the job of bringing the coolant temperature within acceptable operating range

Car is brand new only 1000km driven, engine oil level is fine and Honda I believe uses 0W-20 so that is fine as well. Will monitor the operation for now, I think ambient temperature can be the cause for longer operation engine is also covered from below and maybe heat dissipation is slow

After a lot of market comparisons and discussions finally bought Honda Civic RS and just love it. After watching Elantra Hybrid’s expert review, i had make up my mind to buy Elantra but i had few concerns. First of all Elantra felt congested from inside, the hard plastic used on doors and dashboard looks very cheap. No arm rest on rear seats and Stock Alloy wheels are also a disappointment. Civic with its leather stitching and soft padded material looks more premium. Alloy wheels of RS are also very cool. And above all Drive and comfort is amazing. Alhamdolillah

Elantra has pathetic plastic feel inside. Civic Anyday in sedan segment within crore.

Agree on that, Elantra is way to plasticky and civic offers better driving dynamics. Hyundai missed on very basic things.

What better dynamics are you talking about? Aerodynamics at 300kmhr speed? Because at 120-150kmhr both perform the same. And civic is not rated as a racing car anyway.

Given same price and same class of vehicles with same/similar features, a hybrid will always be a far better value and gives a ton of savings in fuel.

There was a time Civic actually was a 'fast' car by Pakistani standards. Now the following within the same price range cars will handedly beat it or match it:

• H6 2.0
• MG HS 2.0
• Cherry Tiggo 8
• Elantra Hybrid

• Sorento 3.5

Elantra was a better option, this gen rs only had a rs badge and isn't quick at all. Plus the manual pump seats are hilarious, elantra had way better looking interior too.

Aero dynamics and driving dynamics are two entirely different things. Aero dynamics can be measured whereas driving dynamics are much more subjective, at least here in PKDM.
