@fastian04 are you still using apple carplay via carlink device? I have a small query. Does the reverse camera override carplay interface or one needs to switch to it manually when reversing the car?

Reverse cam overrides. Carplay works seamlessly. Nothing to be done manually

now that elantra won from oriel in terms of 0-100, suddenly 0-100 won't matter and rolling will.
Thing is har koi apni chez ki walakat karta hai, everyone thinks they made the right decision, dil men beshak mante hon gay but they won't openly admit it.
Leave pakwheels behind, this place has always misguided people in terms of what to buy, always been hateful to new entrants. The agenda of people here to just support the big 3.
People here are like "give us a latest German vehicle with 8 airbags all bells and whistles under 5 million otherwise we'll keep buying overpriced civics"
Here on pakwheels the vehicle might be a hit but roads and general public have a different story, this vehicle is just another investment for many goons, who know spoiled brats will ask their papa to get them one on own or the elite class will use it for their grocery trips.

The agenda is not to support the "big 3". The problem is that the "next 3" (Lucky, Nishat, Haier boys) have demonstrated beyond shadow of a doubt that they are as bad as (if not worse) than the "big 3" in screwing the buyer.

People can be dumb yes, but these local "seth" businessmen who run these companies are not saints either and would not survive a day in 1st world markets with these kinds of business ethics and mentality.

U are marketing it unknowingly if comments keep coming from non potential buyers as well. Leave the car why only 11th gen is being discussed and even more discussed on comparison vs car itself?

More choona. People are being deceived on basic warranty claims even after marketing 4 yr warranty. Change oil every 3 months else we wont replace ur horn or fix ac issue. Atleast big3 never denied on claims. Multiple times i have claimed on different cars and its was always easy. My friend could not get his horn replaced in elantra, as his oil change was done after 4 months. Aisay new entrants se acha hai bnda used jdm hi le le phr.

Just saw an Oriel with RS trunk spoiler last night, looked awkward and out of place without the 17s rims honestly. RS looks much better with the spoiler I don't know why

If not worst? Name one such car manufacturer whose giving crappy local general made bg luxos in 60 to 70 price range car, answer none except Honda,name one who is giving only two airbags in 60 to 70 lac price range, answer none except HONDA, who is giving inferior quality(although this may be debatable) but Honda is again a famous name in this category,and at the last name one company which is giving detuned engine in a so called sporty car , again none except Honda .. just look at your level of audacity to call out others when the crappiest of all right now is Honda.. I would suggest don’t say clownish things and accept the reality… overpriced word is too little to define civic !

It’s being discussed for a reason, name one individual who called civicx overpriced at launch… now even Suzuki Mehran is discussed for its shortcomings and lack of safety AND I DONT THINK IT MEANS ITS BEING MARKETTED OR SOUGHT AFTER LIKE YOU THINK actually it’s the other way around. You want that Honda should rip people off and people say nothing about it.

the point is simple:

11th gen has lost the "wow factor". Shape, features, oriel detune, fashionable crossovers in same segment & a feel of dented value of money.

We have to accept, the civic has lost the ground. The wow factor of 2016-2017 does not and will not exist.

PS:I really like the car and would have remained with X11 oriel if it was fully 170Hp or had honda sensing or was priced 2-3 lac better. In this price point it doesnt make sense.

6.6 Mil for civic RS also doesnt make sense. Hands down to 2.0 Sonata or Sorento in this price bracket.

Honda fans are the most brain dead people you'll come across, they'll find a way to defend themselves.
When the 0-100 game was lost the rolling game started.
Just admit the fact that rs should have been the oriel and rs should have actually been rs, not just a badge.
The vehicle is now pretty average, it's like the rebirth category again performance.Honda knows they just have to say new civic launched and people will rush to get it, just like apple did, and how they removed the charger and headphones jack and how idiots were defending them.
I don't hate honda, i hate the people's mind set, who go to all forums and bash other brands and call other people's choices obsolete and what not.
Countries don't even consider this worth being taxi's abroad.
I have never seen a Toyota or a suzuki owner brag about their choice like honda guys do.
Eik alag he nasal hai ye, ajeeb zehniyat hai.They're like the patwaris of vehicle industry.
Har forum pe ja k logon ko ulta guide kar kar k pata nae kia milta hai logon ko. Very low mentality things mate.

People did call civic X overpriced at launch cause oriel without options was 25 and fully loaded grande was 23. Plus turbo was 30 which was quite a lot for 2016.

1.5t has too much boost (16.5 psi stock) to run on our sub-standard petrol. Atlas is run by businessmen after all, not enthusiasts. Previous gen rs didn’t sell too well before they detuned it too. They probably saw that, and detuned this car from the start.

Not defending them, just stating the facts. The retuning probably costs them more money than just leaving it stock.
