government should increase the "fine" for different name registration from 4% to 10% so that markup is reduced to zero.

If history has shown us anything, these measures will only make cars more expensive for genuine buyers. Own rates were predicted to decrease when 100k fine was implemented, nothing happened and buyers had to pay 100k extra on top of the own amount. Similarly this 200k fine now seems to have not changed anything in the market either. If the gov actually wants to stop the own mafia, this is not the way, pretty obvious that the gov is just taking their shares of the profit in the market and are not super concerned with the own mafia.

Unfortunately the own mafia and car price increases have gotten so bad that I personally would never recommend any genuine buyer to ever book a car anymore. I personally booked the gm6 city on the first day of prebooking and the dealer prioritized their haramkhor own mafia friends over me by delaying my payorder and I still haven't received my car yet and the price has increased twice already. It literally would have been cheaper for me to have bought on own in sep/oct and would not have had to wait either. My uncle made a similar mistake booking the yaris in october just to avoid the small amount of own it had. The experiences have been so horrible that my whole family has sworn off ever booking a car anymore.

normal people should not buy the markup car. i had money to buy tucson. I waited since February 2021 untill now when i managed to prebook civic. i did not buy tucson on own because the car is not worth the markup. i had the temptation but i took the logical decision. had tucson got the adaptive cruise and full 2700mm or above wheelbase i would might have gone for the markup. users can always wait. can always buy a used car. the onus of markup is on users. i dont know what a 1.6 used corolla can practically cant do what a new civic has to do?? yes, less show off may be. so much for being a geenuine buyer!!

as far as necessity or practicality is concerned, there is no short of supply. sportages are available, MG HS are available, used corollas and civics are available. these cars can always provide the stop-gap arrangement till the booking time is matured.

Buying a used an abused piece of trash car for insanely high prices due to no depreciation and actually appreciation is somehow a lot more idiotic than buying a new car on premium. Your argument would make some slight amount of sense if used cars were even close to being reasonably priced.

Anyone who actually wants to keep the new civic and is prebooking now will end up regretting it, I am 100% sure. Better prepare for an 8-10 months wait and 2-4 price increases from the original release price in the process. Plus city pre-booking was official and made some sense, the new civic pre-bookings on the other hand are gonna be real easy for the dealers to manipulate to serve themselves, gonna be an amazing shitshow.

no bro. all cars are not abused. there are a lot of option under 3.5 mil. there are actually really good used cars if you need it for practical purposes. even if you want a new one, city, yaris,glory,alsvin and sportage are readily availabe withing 3-4 months wait time max.

the problem comes when people are stuck with tucson, grande or fortuner. being stuck to a car doesnt make sense if you need a vehicle for functional requirements. for vanity is another thing. you can always wait for the booking time if you want somethign special. thats why booking rates are 1/4th of the original cost so you can WAIT.

and when I heard k prices are not confirm till very end (same as city booking) and no idea when you'll end up having the car delivered
