I do hope Atlas manages to pull something out of its hat but looks more and more unlikely. Our market is still not ready to accept Turbo Civic. Especially given the stringent maintenance cycles and care Turbocharged DI engines require. By hook or crook R18A managed to pull through in our local market's bad fuels and additives.

I also dont see any benefit of Honda Sensing in Thailand Either. Bangkok traffic is also not the epitome of civic driving sense either.

As per initial crude and unconfirmed reports, 11th Generation Civic is coming by March April 2022 in Pakistan as per current plan. A demo unit CBU will arrive by October 2021 possibly

What could stop Atlas from launching XI? Corolla skipping / delaying the 12th gen, maybe?

Well.. the way Honda launching City.. I dont expect a Civic in 12 Months.. add minimum 6 to 8 months to Indonesian launch of Civic XI.

After 6th Gen City Honda Atlas is going to Launch CKD HR-V after that the 11th gen Civic will be launched in Pakistan

With corolla and civic still selling well , why indus and atlas be bothered about launching new models. Indus is already 2 years late in launching 12th gen corolla. By the time they launch 12th gen (most likely in mid 2023) 13th gen corolla would be launching by then.

For atlas , they are currently so messed up in "new" city launch that its unlikely they are gonna think about civic 11th gen till 2023 mid. (P.S Covid ka acha reason hai sab kay pass..)

I realize one thing that in Pakistan its better buy whatever is in the offing currently rather than speculating and waiting for new models , because even if it launches , end users will still not be able to get hand on it before 1 year due to so called hoarders bookings.

Bhai i never claimed launch of corolla in 2020 or 2021.

People used to say the same thing about Civic X ke it won’t come before 2017 etc but it came 2016 just before its time.

facelifft already happened in 2019. 2022 launch of civic x is imminent. civic is the first car honda launched in Pakistan with all the updates in time.

Don't underestimate Atlas.. they did multiple fake-lifts to the 5th generation City and in 2016, 2 facelifts within months.

They are fully capable to do "EXCLUSIVE " stuff.

i would say they had some issue with the city thing...one bad decision may be. waisay after they got cheap manufacturing unit for city 6th gen, they will be able to go for civic line up in time. also they have to save their reputation.already sprotages and tucsons are killing civic.

The 2019 facelift wasn't actually a facelift as Atlas wanted us to believe.
This is the real facelift in other markets.

Meaning atlas could still milk this model for a couple more years. Whether atlas offers it in pak or skips it in favor of 11th gen is anyone's guess.

When is HR-V expected? And how will they position it? I guess they are gonna fill the R18 void with HR-V and top it up with Civic Turbo.

Doesnt seem likely considering Indonesia launch is still away and then they have to make some changes in the assembly line too. 1Q-22 is not realistic by Atlas standards.
