Americans are gonna be shocked to know that we wait for 6-12 months just to get a car out. I've even heard that they haven't increased the price i.e, they kept it the same as 10th generation? Can anyone confirm this.

The newly revealed GAC Honda Civic for China looks much better than the global version. Front is adequately sharp and the rear is a great evolution of current CIvic. If I was a civic owner I would swap out my front and rear with this asap.

That picture is of USDM model and all US trims have LED headlights.

I purposely searched for and used a flipped image to match the GAC Civic's photo for a clearer comparison. Secondly, the rims on this Civic are exclusive to USDM Civic's Touring trim.

They've named this version of Civic as "Integra" in China. Completely different from the actual integra that used to be sold many years back.

Acura is going to relaunch the real Integra in US market next year.

Wait for Indonesian launch as far as a second engine option . Honda killed 1.8 in Thailand.. possibly that might be the case in Indonesia as well. If that happens, PKDM Civic will be 1.5T only as well.

As of now the 2L NA engine on 11th gen is only for LHD markets like it was for Civic X.

In the first place, the new Civic for China, which is the base, has not been officially announced yet, but it is known that the Civic already announced in the United States and Japan will be launched in China almost as it is.

The new Civic for China is about to be officially announced in September 2021, and it seems that the delivery of the exhibition car to dealers etc. has already started.

I’ll be happy with only one engine option like 1.5T but the problem is that Atlas would have serious problem selling Turbo in mass numbers considering what happened with Civic X Turbo initial days… Here majority will stick that taboo with it and will resist buying…
So yes Atlas needs a work horse R18 type stuff to sell numbers…

if they can stick a 1.2L in the new local city, where it was only 1.5L overseas, I dont see why they cant do something similar for the civic.
