Is it your MO to get in everyone's face?
I am sad that I am gonna take the bait. Ah well, you should be better equipped than others to throw the car in corners and enjoy it (that is if you are someone who wants to take advantage of a sedan's stability over a crossover). Besides, the fear of an unknown bump is not as great as you make it out to be. If you travel north a lot, you should know the patches where you can push the care and patches where you'd want to be a little more cautious. Sawat-Kalam have good roads bar a few small patches. Murree-Nathiagali also have good road infrastructure to enjoy a sedan if you want. Naran-Kaghan-Gilgit-Hunza, is not bad either, not as good but enough to allow one to enjoy a sedan, if one wishes.
Exactly, my point was that the advantage of a sedan over a crossover you are pointing to is not there in most of the cases and where it is, there is a further decline in the number of people who actually enjoy/utilize the said advantage. Just to clarify, I am just making the case as to why the crossovers are so popular and the advantage that a sedan offers is not something that majority of the people who own sedans themselves, exploit. Removing these parameters, makes it very clear why crossovers are a good choice. As for the rest of your comment, I agree with it totally, if and when the quality of sedans matches that of the crossovers here.
I really hope Atlas with 11th gen ups the game and offers competitive quality and features. I would definitely prefer a good quality turbo 11th gen over crossovers any day of the year. I am in love with the interior.
