Disagreed! Bhai only serious buyers are criticising it. A lot of us have kept many of the older generations of civic and were waiting for new shape as an upgrade not a downgrade. So it’s not like k hum khreed nai sktay.
Many of my friends shifted to crossovers but i being a fan of civic’s feel and drive didnt and waited for 11th gen.
Atlas killed the whole excitement for XI with this 127hp thing halogen lights more or less the same plastic quality offered in X with BG luxo as cherry on top

tbh this 127hp thing won't be very noticeable. The engine is turbo charged and has very good torque figures. It will give you much better fuel economy at this tune and that is a bigger concern worldwide. This gen should be significantly quicker than the previous gen, mainly because of the gearbox (Civic X is on par with City 1.5 in terms of acceleration mind you).

I haven't driven the car of course, but it seems to be a non-issue for most people.

The car drives a bit sluggish and the GOON GOON voice at higher end rpms when u floor the car ._. grande however has better feel because of fake gear ratios and quicker engine response while civic has lag and again the GOON GOON is weird af

suzuki swift has 6 airbags now

This on the other hand is a bit more difficult to agree with. With 6 airbags, the car would be around 4 lac more expensive and Honda is going to have a super hard time selling this car even at the current price (booking times are just inflated right now). Yes 6 airbags would be nice to have (important even), but having a car that fits the market in some sense is more important. what good will 6 airbags do if you do not even have the car lol.

As far as comparison with international markets is concerned, prices of the Civic have rocketed there as well. There has been ample discussion in this thread even before the launch of the car about the increased price and detuned engine. It wasn't a problem for Honda worldwide and its not going to be a problem in Pakistan. Honda cannot sell the car for the price they manufacture it, which is what half this blog seems to want. You can see their profit reports and it has held pretty steady with regards to inflation in the past 5 years. Yes I have many complaints with Honda cars but this is the situation of the global economy and Pakistani economy. We have to make do with what we get from them unfortunately

Yes. which is my point. It is not very useful. Out of 1000 Civics sold, maybe 50 customers push their Civics to high speeds. Personally, all 3 of the Civics I have owned have not been pushed beyond 155 at any point. Mileage is a big concern as these are city cars so it makes sense to detune the engine a bit but perhaps increase the efficiency

You are forgetting the massive amounts of taxes that have to be paid to the government. And have u seen the quality of the interior this time? It seems to be thai almost. There is no doubt that the car is stripped, but its nowhere near as much as the Civic X, which was sold for a similar difference with much less features. I will go as far as saying that Honda wont make nearly as much money per Oriel sold as they did last gen.

At a price of 55/63 lac and lacking almost all of its sailent features .. its the most senseless and zero value to money option available .. even the chinese changan oshan x7 has way more features and is actuall 2 lac cheaper .. it also has a 7 seater variant which again is even more less in price .. while 63 lack for a compact sedan is absurd that to a stripped out lite version which makes one a fool spending this much on a joke of a car like this new local civic

The prices over there have rocketed so what? atleast they are getting fully loaded civic with all the bells and whistels .. while we are paying even more then them i guess and getting the most inferior specced civic lacking in everyaspect.. they didnt even give two usb ports for rear passengers for godsakes stop defending this scam/joke .. people like you are reason these companies will keep on doing these scams with the consumers .. as some of the consumers themselves dont see their rights or have black money gathered around i dont see any other explanation to support them . They have insulted the pakistani market this time .

What good will it do? ask this question to people who make these cars .. there is a proper check and balance of safety and cars lacking side/curtain airbags will not protect the occupant in side/rollover impacts .. what good did it do to suzuki giving 6 airbags in swift? right as according to you we just need to see new maadal civic shape 🤡 .. there is whole article on pw facebook group about this topic go see it. After paying 63 lac you dont even get a fully equipped car with atleast 6 airbags and still people like you defend it .. even if they give no airbag at all im pretty sure you will defend it .. reason lack of knowledge about consumer rights and what other countries are getting .

They will only convert when honda atlas gives all the features this civic deserves and gives good quality along with 6 airbags .. until then good bye to this rip of civic . Im trying to say that even chinese companies give good features , suzuki which was always joked about gave 6 airbags in swift which is less then half the price while we get 2 in an already stripped out civic(overpriced) what a shame . And i guess kia/hyundai are not chinese products and provide way better value to money with nice features so many real buyers will go for them instead !

Someone above said it has enough power. This is not someone expect "just enough" with Turbo engine. It should provide some thrill. Turbo engine require extra care, it is still to prove the longevity on pakistani fuel and hot, humid, dusty environment. This is true for Chinese cars as well but more applicable to civic as many use it like daily runner.

Just adding another angle which influence purchasing decision.
