there are more XI generation civics listed on pakwheels and on showrooms ( ready delivery) than on the roads and this sums up the story of real buyers buying it… few in thread are desperate to have the car but some investor or dealer is selling it from obnoxious premium, this is something that Honda needs to fix but Honda is part of the problem or i must say they are the problem being unethical and exploitative…
everyone has the right to make a choice whether in favour or against but having said that one needs to take a principle stance at times and tell the manufacturers/ companies that they cant get away with anything.. big brands have fallen in the past because customers refused to accept their poorly valued offerings…
this product (xi) is a sub-par product and it should be called-out that way, not necessarily comparing it with something else but rather just as a product in itself that is not worth its price-tag, m least concerned if something out there is as good or bad.
not necessarily those who arent buying or who cant afford are against it, i for a fact have reborn, rebirth and X at my place, dint go for any SUV in last 2-3 years when everyone was buying it and desperately waited for Civic XI but i will not buy it out of self-respect and will not be part of this exploitation by Honda… will keep X till the time something better/ worth a change is available… n i know atleast 5-7 more in my circle only who waited for XI and who can fully afford it but are not buying it due to the exploitation that Honda is doing, we may be wrong but satisfied…

Didn't Atlas exploit the same way at the time of 10th gen launch in 2016? So that was halal, because you happen to own an X?

Now the same practice by Atlas is haram because XI is more expensive?

If you judge by that rule, X was also just as stripped down (if not more) in 2016.

Price aside for a moment, this time at least in RS spec Atlas has bridged/provided ALOT of things in comparison to internation spec. In 2016 we didn't even get that option due to moronic decisions by Atlas.

Whereas, back in 2016 when 10the gen Turbo was launched it was a missing alot more than 11th gen RS is missing now.

I am not justifying the prices because at the moment no car on market is value for money.

You forgot the fact that civicx has the looks this doesnt even have that, civicx was reasonably prices atleast when it was launched this isnt .. civicx set a new bench mark in automotive industry in pakistan .. this civic xi doesnt set that bench mark now all of its rivals corolla, sportage, tucson are fully specced and are better in many aspects from this overpriced rip off car .. when civicx was launched there was no such competition and the prices were still fine not as insane like they are now so please check your facts .. this civic isnt going to sell the same ! Both models have five years of innovation difference between them and when you compare what new things civicx offered and what new things this civic gets sadly it falls short of justifying its insane price tag any day and this is going to be one of the reasons even the exterior looks are rather bland this time around!
lol what a joke atlas has bridged the gap with international model??? like giving 2 airbags opposed to 6 airbags? like giving cheap techno lcd opposed to original honda lcd with apple car play/android auto?? like not even giving rear usb ports? no wireless charging ? local general made bg tires ... looks like i missed the part where this scam atlas honda bridged the gap rather they made atlantic ocean gap between international civic and local civic xi lite thats the reality what you say is a dream

One of my very close friends have sold new insights and booked RS. JDMs are a mess to maintain. Reason for him was the new shape and also quality is pretty decent this time

X was the most featureless car at that time vs Grande even. Secondly, looks are subjective and personal preference but 11th is beautiful no doubt and most of the buyers fell in love long before it was launched here. Actual issue is budget and arguments are coming out without logics so far.

yes that is correct facelift grande is more equipped then civicx oriel but you cant deny the fact that civicx gave all those things first then toyota gave facelift of corolla in which they improved the car .

Bro ALL that what you have said is purely subjective. Ofcourse you are entitled to your opinion.

What benchmark did Civic X set exactly? Beat all other cars combined in sales? Beat a GTR around a track?

The car which you are calling as benchmark had its steering rack changed (even twice, thrice in some cases) in every other car. Had its own share of AC evap issues, batteries dying prematurely, etc.

These are not subjective things. The cold hard fact is: every Corolla, Civic, City, Yaris sells well. Now Sportage seems to have added itself in that list too thanks to Pakistanis being unable to look beyond: lights, rims and a big glass over the head.

None of the cars you have mentioned are "spec'ed anywhere near as well" by ANY stretch of imagination compared to their own respect international counterparts. Generation vs generation.

Corolla is the same 8 year old design with equally outdated interior, for which it costs less too.

Elantra is a generation old design and misses out on a lot of things even in comparison to its own generation internationally.

Take that panoramic sunroof out of the equation and please enlighten me what exactly does a generation old Tucson and Sportage offer exactly?

Sportage and Tucson here are the most stripped out crossovers when compared to their international model. But that's okay I guess because: panoramic omg?

Sportage has the most bland, outdated looking interior of all crossovers in market right now.

If you are having a hard time accepting the reality, go to YouTube and search for international reviews of this Sportage from 2015/2016 era when it was launched internationally.

If you are not aware .. civicx was the first locally assembled car to give led day time running lights, keyless entry, trunk opener, electronic parking brake, brake hold, exotic looking attractive shape, bigger size tires , first to give turbocharged engine, remote engine startup with ac on, rear lcd , rear ac vents .. it compelled toyota to update corolla or the sales were going to die so i will again suggest you to update your facts 🏻
