looking better already ... though its not as ground breaking as civic x was but it will look nice... this seems the base LX model ... touring will get better rims etc so it will look even more appealing,

To me it looks more like a pre - face lift version of Civic X.

Maybe Honda has mixed up Civic launches this time.

2L NA is not available for RHD regions Civics . And Elantra other engine below 2L is 1.6 so they have no other option.

Keep in mind, we are CKD, we are not R&D and when the steering orientation changes, many items orientation also changes in the engine bay. I don't expect a 2L in RHD Civic. You might see an improved 1.5T and 1.8L NA.

A 1.6, 1.8 and 1.5T is already predicted for ASEAN while 2L and 1.5T for USDM and certain other LHD regions where Civic comes as import from US/ Canada. China might also get a 1L sedan while 1L in hatchback in Europe is expected like currently.

Elantra 2L engine is not the benchmark for Honda to introduce a 2L. Again I hope it show up in RHD but chances are slim.

Obviously Elantra 2.0 is not a benchmark. If ASEAN getting improved 1.8 so obviously we’ll also get the same improved engine.
