That depends on the brand. Most american detailing products are overpriced. If you choose japanese, they provide superior results in half the price. The only reason people don't know much about them is they are not as hyped as the alternates.

The key to wax application is apply thin layer and work panel by panel if you want to make the application process easier. Never apply to whole car and start removing in the end. That will be hell to remove. Instead apply on one panel, and then on 2nd panel. Then remove it from the first panel in summer. In winters you may remove it after applying on 2 panels. Also keep changing the towels used for removing the wax. A single towel cannot remove the wax from the whole car
