story of a worthy downgrade:

So in October i returned from abroad and wanted a new ride, had a revo for daily use which wasn’t that practical cost, size etc wise. Back then people were asking close 8 mil plus for RS, the budget I didn’t had. So chose the new civic oriel, kept it till last week and yesterday I got a white 21 turbo RS only 14k driven from a friend.

Honestly, enjoying every bit of it. Yes, I do sometimes get terrified of steering rack etc or other common issues i faced with my 17 turbo, but a risk worth taking. In some cases it even feels an upgrade from a simple oriel
like lights, paddle shifters etc

X RS is now also v v expensive. Clean pristine cars sell over 6.1 and even one car was sold at 6.2 last month. New Oriel will retain value for longer unless X RS is found at good rate which is rare for a a sheesha piece.

Seen many people sell the oriels and honestly i can see why, that thing is pretty slow, i had 2 runs with cocky guys and i gapped them very easily.
I feel like x rs will be a rare and ultimate find in future. I rarely see a new civic in islamabad. At most 1 a day.

Well, not sure where are u in Isb. There are way too many... in Lahore and Isb. In Lahore, X1 can be seen too frequently, more than any other 2022 launched cars (swift aside).

I bought civic in oct costed me 69.75 with all registration etc, sold for 66 after 2 months trying. Perhaps, 11th gen will make market when purchasing power/economy recovers under Darnomics in few years

Untill then no point wasting on Halogen bulbs. RS 11th gen most certainly is a different league

11th gen Oriel is fairly common now in Islamabad. 11th gen RS I see maybe 1 every few weeks. But then again that was the case with the 10th gen Turbo as well.

X RS used to be a rare sight, but for 11th, RS is the trim to buy actually. For the price difference, it's a way better experience. Anyways, the number of cars is very decent on the road despite higher price

I live in quite a prime area, every home here has 3 cars for sure, the amout of sonatas are more here.

where are these decent number of cars that u see… its been a year, there are more XIs on pakwheels than on roads… roads, mall parkings, office parkings, pick any point as a test case and chk with complete honesty and transparency putting aside the civic fan-boy biases… i hv had every civic from 5th gen onwards… civic 11 is a downgrade, its an insult to genuine civic fans, its over priced and its a flop… it was booked by opportunists and investors mostly and hence u see more on pakwheels than on roads…

may be Sir, my eyes are faulty and i see all civics as 11th gen in Lahore.
