I went to check out hrv a few days ago they told me all bookings are closed except for city.

A new base type variant of civic will be coming in August and BRV will be discontinued as per a recent rumour. No clarity on specs yet.

This is what i can think of

1. Fabric seats
2. Without alloynl rims
3. 2Din player
4. No cruise control
5. No camera
6. No push start
7. No rear AC
8. 02 speakers
9. No sunroof

I dont know but Maybe 1.5 NA engine used in HRV

This all bring cost of civic to around 65 lac .

Last one seems difficult

They should have just given the 2.0 k20 engine here. It would have been the king of it's category with that engine instead they just gave a detuned engine to lower costs

That's max they can do. Rest is not available anywhere so they cannot do that either,...2.0 is also impossible since it's only available in LHds

Even if they are able to pull this off why would people but such an expensive care stripped of basic features? Instead Honda should bring the jazz brio or the city hatchback to improve it's product mix

Only thing they are good at is showing me the lowest spec options that I never knew existed. I never knew the HRV has an analog cluster until atlas unveiled their car LCD one standard in japan and europe
