Sir mine is 10k driven now and i had old one as well. Never had knocking issues. Yes our fuel HAD issues. Just change the pump sir. I'm running 21.5 PSI which is way over stock boost still no knocking. Knock control values taught me that PSO is simple above all others. I think the pump owner is mixing something. BTW, dealership should check knock control value instead of making stupid arguments.

He was claiming that his civic has 5+ issues and the dealership is not accepting any claims which is complete BS. I have been to Honda dealerships all over Lahore and they have always been very good as far warranty is concerned. In fact, I recently went due to a minor issue and they addressed it promptly. Sure, sometimes the technicians are idiots (lack of education and technical knowledge) but that's not on Honda. That's the reality of our local labour market. Anyway, I wouldn't even waste time here. This guy has been trolling in this thread since last year. I do admire his persistence. It must be frustrating for him to criticise cars when he can't even handle the responsibility of owning one himself (he looks quite young from the picture you shared above). I wouldn't be surprised if the guy never even sat behind the wheel

Buy Philips - I am using them in my 11th gen and i love them. I actually had novsights before i switched to Philips. Novsights are good but they are really bright, blind other drivers and the cutoff was really really bad. I switched to these:

They are not as bright as novsight but they will not blind other drivers. They are very well balanced and have excellent cut-off.

@fastian04 I have a shell fuel card (company provided so changing the company is OOQ) and I would use only F7, F10 or FC plaza in Peshawar that are expected to not mixing anything, and using V power only, not even mixing.
Tell me more about the knocking control valve, and recommend any mechanic whom you believe would look at the issue without acting defensive about it and blaming only fuel quality. Also in your experience how much could this be because of spark plugs, I just completed 10k and the issue still remains there at 60km to 80km acceleration.

Again the clicks/knocking does not happen all the time, its rare but spending the amount I did on the vehicle it should not be acting this way at all.

At 10K spark plug should be fine. Knock control should be around 0.49.0.55 range. a 0 value means 100 RON.. ideal... for stock map even at 91 RON, car should not knock. I m on higher map and getting 0.49 on PSO. Total took me to 0.65 although still it wasn't knocking at all. Any 95 ron fuel would be perfect even on very high boosts, leave stock aside.
