The Thai RS top of the line has 17' NOT 18". Malaysian RS gets 18".

The rest of Thai two variants gets 16" .

Malaysian RS gets 18" . These are same which are seen on USDM 2L Sport

LED headlights are on the RS only in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia. It is standard across the trim on USDM.

But then Malaysia even on top trim RS misses the 10.2'"digital cluster which is there on RS in Thailand, Indonesia . Malaysian spec RS also dont have dual zone climate control which is there on Thai and Indonesian RS.

By the way the Malaysian top of the line varaint RS is missing the full digital 10.2" digital cluster as seen on Thai RS , Indonesian RS or USDM Touring. Malaysia RS is offered with basic 7" TFT display with analogue gauge. Additionally, Malaysian RS is also with single zone climate control. Thai Indonesia gets dual on RS only while USDM get dual on Turbo as standard. Lastly as discussed earlier, No sunroof in any of varaint in Thai, Indonesia, Malaysia. Sunroof is standard on USDM Tur…

agree. i was told the same too. and booking starts from 1.2M not 1.5. sportage craze is over.

Current bookings are taken on the name of Oriel only. Once announced, we have to pay the difference in booking price and then the final bulk before delivery. Price is the biggest worry .
Sportage never had fan boys it was opted due to old civic/ Rolla. New sportage can change the gane again.

We will get a hybrid from Thailand and Malaysia. Cheaper of the two options... Anyways... 17 inch rims are already confirmed so outlook is of Thai one for sure. Some time later this month things will be crystal clear

For at least LED lights alone I will opt for RS.
No way getting halogens this time.

I m v hopeful..LEDs will be standard. X had LEDs so Atlas won't experiment on the looks i guess.

11th..I m one of those who never even considered sportage. I don't like CSUVs. No fun, nothing tempting. Tuscon though has v v good looks. 2000cc sedan feels underpowered vs Turbo, how come a 2000cc crossover stands a chance.

Now other things to look for are,

Standard Cluster.. 7' TFT on the left with Tachometer while conventional analogue for speed on right. [ Standard on Thai, USDM. Malaysian RS ]

10.25" full digital Cluster [ On USDM Touring, Thai and Indonesia RS ]
