Yes Sportage engine does not compete Civic Turbo BUT all crossovers everywhere across the globe are cross shopped against the sedan in the segment. Keep in mind engine is not the only thing for decision making. It's much more than that.

Times have changed. Last 6 months were a gem for Turbo RS owners. People made 500k on average on a used car.... MG has made turbo mainstream now. People want the fastest one available.

Well till few weeks ago, I was reading here that people really wanted a 1.8L and were die hard fan .. I was reading that Turbo only might not work in favor of Atlas.. while I have been telling for many months that it will be 1.5T only.

Again we have no confirmation about Atlas .

August last year my brother booked a Sonata 2.5. I seriously considered it but then thought to myself I'll wait and see what Atlas brings with the 11th gen. Pehle 2 lac price bari sonata ki, ab with the new mini budget non sense it will increase further. Now I'm kicking myself for not getting a sonata earlier.
