i still dont understand the whole prebooking situation regarding Civic XI. Are dealers taking prebookings? Is it official? And what is the process

Count me IN, but for me as of now price and affordability are factors and it all depends on Atlas if fans like me will be able to get the new Civic this time or not (naive me, as if they care at all)

I have Allhamdolillah have kept all Gens from 1998 onwards but lets see if I will be able to afford this one easily or not, time will tell. This time the inflation and budgeting is absolutely insane. In the past adding a few lakhs after 4-5 years was manageable but now adding Millions is hard

Its not official. Basically u book current one to get a po number and add ur self in list. This is how its working since years

The car's exterior is growing on me slowly but that doesn't mean you should price it at 5.5-6.0 Mill Honda Atlas! One can find a W204 Facelift C-Class in this range with somewhat low mileage but damn the parts are expensive as hell.

This time around white and lighter colours aren’t so catchy instead darker shades black and gray gives much better beefy looks IMO

Yes thats right.

Alto vxl was launched at price 1295000 in june 2019 when dollar was 153 and the cars price in dollar was 8465 and the taxes were the same that they are today.

Alto vxl now is 1747000 and dollar is 177. The dollar price of alto vxl is 9870 which is 1400 dollars more than it was in june 2019.

In dollar terms the price has inflated 16.5 percent and in rupee term the price has inflated 35 percent.

They are blaming it all in dollar whereas they increase the price more than double.

If they had kept the price same in dollars the car would be 1498000 rupees.

Spoken to dealership in khi…. They are expecting delivering 11genfrom April onwards and has been taken bookings and if I book today I’ll get PBO for sept….as per the rep they started taken booking some 10 days ago with the delivery time of April which has gone up to Sept now imagine how many booking they already made….

they did not made bookings itne zyada they were told delivery of sept in the first place ye shuru ke dealers ke apne gariya hai april june wale jo ke heavy own pai sell honge

Yes I know it’s common practice among dealers but this time arround ziada own nahi jana already car is gonna be expensive and competing with several cars in same price bracket tou iska haal bhi Elantra wala hi hona hai yes first 3 4 months toda houga but later on it will be readily available….

Overall the market dynamics and purchasing power is different it might be easier for people to upgrade from 10 gen but for a new costumer or upgrading from lower end car like cultus city Yaris it’s almost impossible more so bc of financing scenarios these days….in past people like me used to buy cars on cash as they knew there equity is only gonna go up but now the car pricing is almost at the tipping point not much room to go up and also the difference of price bw Corolla and civic is gonna be 1-1.5 million until Corolla comes up with 12 gen so I don’t see many people getting hands on civic

Inflation is 11 percent in this govt against average of 6 and lowest of 3 during last govt. Also take local inflation in account.

Akheer pasay hain awam kay pass. Fortuner tak to milti nhn ready. I see so many new in Lahore daily. Division nhn rhi pasay ki . Jis kay pass hai akheer hi pera hai

Aisa hi hai but fortuner is different class us budget mai us jaisi suv nahi but civic budget mai too many options, in fact just yesterday I booked legendary pahlay highway motors call ki they said sir booking open nahi then called Eastern motors unho nai Oct ka time diya pir Pakistani tareeka nikala ref wala tou May ka PBO milgaya, so in actual demand and supply both been manipulated by this dealer/invested mafia

Somehow, the Average sale of passenger pkdm has increased from 180k-200k band to 250k band. Means sales and demand has increased.

The only point of concern is that in 5.5 we used to have fortuner in 2017 and now not even a civic.
