well, i think these are the pre mass production builds which will be sent to showrooms for buyers and visitors.

should we really assume that full scale American launch is here.

These are mass produced, will go to car reviews and media outlets. It will arrive at dealers in next few weeks ,possibly by end of June/ Mid July.

When the car is on display at dealers, its available for sale the same day. No booking and waiting situation. Dealers keep atleast a month of inventory all the times and it keeps on replenishing. As long as your finances are OK, you pickup vehicle the same day.

I have around 25 dealers for Honda in my 30 miles radius.

This is the inventory on lot at my local town dealer [ just one dealer] . The Civics listed are the Civic X . This should give you an idea why , same day delivery is possible.

12th gen corolla is even smaller than Civic X. New Civic is definitely longer and wider than 12th gen corolla.

Rear legroom is increased as well because the wheelbase (distance between the front and back axles) is increased compared to 10th gen by 3.6 cm. While overall the car is longer and wider but the bonnet isn't essentially long. It "appears" longer because the A-pillars have been pushed back inward to improve visibility for driver.
