1. full digital meter for RS already.
2. same old cruise.
3. LED lights goes to RS as well.
4. electric seat do not exist.

Tbh I don't care about electric seats either I don't remember the last time I ever adjusted my seats. I would want lumbar support, but you don't get that in any Civic.

People have been saying that since the start of pti gov extreme inflation yet the sales have only increased. I mean if the leaked honda doc is true, oriel at 5m is literally twice of the civic X oriel price and people are mostly fine with it. I'm willing to bet they've got more civic 11th prebookings than they got for the X. Seems like the actual buyers have increased their earnings and wealth accordingly and don't care about the price increases. Only the lower classes have truly suffered.

Don’t know about purchase power but it’s hard to sale car these days don’t know who is buying new cars, I tried to sale mine 2020 turbo last sept it was advertised on PakWheels for long and actually very first time in my experience PakWheels ad got expired and I wasn’t able to sale my car though priced it very modestly same happened with my friends uncle wasn’t able to sold his oriel for 3 4 months May b Punjab market is different but in khi things are different….

any idea why mazda wont come to pakistan their cars are some of the most reliable and beautiful elegant cars out there and can be a tough competition for corolla and civic like the mazda 3

The only problem is that D segement people are now buying C segment. C segment buying the hatchbacks.

The overall gdp has reduced. It was about time that we fought over accord or camry pkdm like other developing countries like malaysia or indonesia.rather the debate is how the civic is slipping from the middle class and becoming an emblem of rich people.

Middle class has been reduced to alsvin or yaris at max. This is what the bad economy has actually done. If it was 2017 growth level now in 2022, we would all be buying fortuner/sorento/sonato at the moment. 6 years and still stuck at the same category means the GDP numbers were not great.

I m surprised. I have sold 2 civics one RS and one oriel in last 4 months and it took me literally 48 hrs max. Buyers are much more than sellers provided cars are pristine

If new civic booking hasn't started and if i want to book civic today, which civic would that be? Considering the delivery time, i dont think booking would be of 10th gen? Or the booking of civic is completely stopped these days?

You’re quite wrong..

First, civic and special Corolla are hot market cars. Even if new ones now cost above 4 million.

Why?
The alternatives are even more expensive. Sportage, Tucson, etc. that new toy Elantra has already crossed Corolla

And

Cars specially market cars like Corolla and civic sell very fast, specially in Islamabad and after that Lahore.

Entire kpk also jumps at ISB cars and then LHR cars.

Maybe Karachi market is slow. Or you were demanding a lot, usually Khi number cars are much cheaper than ISB n LHR cars.

No cars man its gettingvwry difficult to sell in karachi... i tried selling oriel 2020 and Altis 2019 i found other forums more effective than pakwheels tbh
Both cars are untouched 3s maintained clean n speak for themselves but i didnt find single serious buyer who is interested still trying my luch with oriel 2020 jst 17k mileage

Cars haven't been behaving like economic goods of late (i.e. not according to the laws of demand and supply) but have exhibited characteristics of luxury goods, where the demand elasticity isn't exactly price sensitive. The assemblers and the new comers are now well aware of this and have been inching up the price regularly, without materially affecting the demand. Rather, the demand for vehicles has been rising with the price.
The other explanation could be that the economy has too much wealth parked outside the books or that vehicles are a necessity in this time and age and people just have to have them at any cost or that the industry is behaving like a cartel (which is obvious to everyone expect the competition watchdog)

Karachi market is

the new crossovers have also made a joke out of them. some are still baby CBUs, some are nothing more then panorama, some are permanently closed for booking. no availability but frequent price hikes.
