Altis 1.6 is going to be launched next year, bigger engine, alloys, 7 inch navigation with reverse camera. With the same ugly black front grill that xli/gli are coming with.

Yes u r right but i have now confirmed from my friend he is working in toyota i-9 he said the grill can be changed n also the pieces that are in headlights can also b changed without changing the lights so im going to change the grill to chrome as im taking gli in white colour

What have u guys decided about tyres ?
In the other thread , tyre guru I asked the current prices of tyres , they are so expensive now ,a good branded 17 " tyre for around 18 k per tyre that's too much and good set of alloys even if we go for Advanti only will cost atleast 40k minimum

Many other Malaysian and other brands are available for lesser price
Like accelera 17 " for 10 k per tyre which is affordable
I used that tyre in my 8th gen civic it was great for aggressive driving grip and handling and had impressive grip at 180 to 200 km / hr speed but was hard and uncomfortable
Any other brand that u guys suggest in this price range which is soft and comfortable for bad roads ?
And I think I would hardly get 20 to 24k for my eurostars and steel rims with new design wheel caps right ?

I noticed one thing they are also giving Floor Mats with new corolla
They carpet is in black and has corolla written with red !
Saw the mats lying in Gli 's trunk

Honda Atlas charges too much even for mats and the mats are thin and bad !

I was inclined towards strong blue and wine red have never kept these two colors
Father said corolla looks good only in medium silver
And My Mom said if ur getting New Corolla then only color choice is gun metallic otherwise keep driving Swift
To ammi jaan ka hukum manna para lol
But now after looking at these pics I am happy with decision

define wise first ... as the criterians varies from person ... to person

Altis AT is suppose to give you a loss at resale while Gli will give the least loss

drive wise ..Altis AT will be fun to drive ... power and economy while GLI will not be as fun as one would think should come out of a 1.8 mill vehicle ... see the fuel consumption rating for Corolla 1.8 CVTi is 12.4 kpl and Gli 1.3 Auto is 13.3 kpl within City ... only a difference of 0.9kpl so no doubt Altis 1.8 is a better balanced vehicle minus the resale factor

PS. BOTH cars are equally prone to be stolen :o

Basically the new cvt transmission is really good to drive i guess. My parents would love rear reclining seats. But that theft factor in isb is tooo damn much. 2.2 million for car plus 150,000 tax plus 100,000 for insurance. 2.4 million for Altis AT (Non Grande) is it worth it?
