For everyone saying "this car is too heavy, how will it move with only a 1.3L engine", please know that it will move fine. I have a 2012 GLi, and with 5 people it works absolutely fine (never felt that it was underpowered). Of course this is a COROLLA, not a Ferrari so please do not expect it to move and behave like one.
The 10th gen Corolla's (Xli/GLi manual variants) curb weight was 1300 kg (source: Wikipedia). The new GLi weighs the same (1275 kg - as told by @rizwan400 bhai), so it'll move the same. It was good enough for everyone who bought the car last time, and it'll be good enough for everyone who buys it this time.
My biggest concern is with the auto transmission. 17.7 seconds to reach a 100 km/h? Really? Even if it was 12 seconds that could've been understandable, but this is just shameful. And like everyone else has been saying, no immobilizer means it's a deal breaker. Also given the fact that Honda's now offering newer features in their Civic (new cameras for video calling and front parking), I've got zero interest left in buying this car, new shape be damned.
