Dealers install navis in cars which do not come with the option of FF equipment and that has nothing to do with IMC. It's a deal between customer and dealer.

You can also go to the vendor who supplies or installs the navis at factory and get the same stuff.

True IMC does not give options of adding features like Atlas and Atlas installs all the options like navi units and leather seats at their factory

I test drove Gli Auto today and I have to admit it is good ... drives very differently then City-AT .. although the transmission is old but it feels good ..and picks up pretty nice.

If you are not into racing ..it is a good daily driver. Recommended !

Additional features of Altis:
To me the most notable difference is that GLi has single VVTi engine while 1.6 Auto has Dual VVTi engine.

The In-Dash entertainment system with 7" display has BT, NAV, MP3, Rev Camera, Radio, USB and Aux connectivity.

If hes using same door trim / door panel / interior board doing some alterations in it then its way expensive
According to my knowledge and according to the dealership
25 k for power windows
16 k for rear door panels / boards
You will get Gli panels 8k per panel

I have driven my grande for 400 km till now. I felt it a bit sluggish in D mode . I had driven manual civic 2013 before this. May be after 5ks it may have a better pick. Paddle shifters were used rarely but the engine response was amazing. I shifted before 3000 rpm and they work great. Feul average is just above 13 km where the car was used mostly in station and uphill.

65 K is really very expensive. Yes I also get the same price for power windows 25K. But for rear board I dont know exactly about price.
But in 25K power windows there is no main switch on driver side.

Hm xli was a hit in previous 2 generations
But this time i dont see xlis on roads.. and the delivery time is also 1 month like base model Altis manual and Auto which simply shows they are struggling in selling their xlis
even rent a car services are more inclined towards manual Gli now ..
instead of giving more color options in xli automatic next year they must think about giving power windows now ..its a must
even if they increase the price by 40 k , they will be able to sell many xlis

I bought it but delivery will be in november. I drove it twice, paddle shift has no lag at all like manual one. Once u press the padel it get shift without any noticable jurk or sound. Car is too smooth to drive and have excellent pick, that drive forced me to buy Grande even i was short of money. But for the pleasure i arranged it. You can book ur test drive in any near by toyota showroom and take an experiance. Pleasure cant define in words.

The drive is really smooth , pick and acceleration is really nice overall a nice car
But i dont like the way cvt transmission feels

If we compare AT with CVT
Cvt is so smooth , but if we floor it , we dont really get any feel , the fake shifts are a nice move because without fake shifts it looks like car is going in 1 gear only , but with this fake shift in new corolla it gives a little feeling as if the gears are shifting up
But still not as good as AT which gives a real feeling of shifting up
Its just like comparing EPS with hydraulic power steering
eps feels so good for city drive but bad for highways no grip at all and no feel behind the wheel ( the reason why reborn feels better than 9th gen for sharp turns and sharp curves even at high speed )
Theres no lag at all new corolla accelerates really nicely and is fast but we must drive it first before purchasing
Because many people who are upgrading from 4 speed AT previous corolla 1.6 , 8th gen Civic and City aspire with 5 speed AT may not feel that good
its a car that will cruise smoothly even at 160 but will fail to give that pleasure which we really want at this price and 1.8 category in pakistan , with our limited budgets we expect alot from it
manual transmission is no doubt fun to drive
But looking at the traffic conditions here , auto is becoming a must now but still AT gives that fun to drive factor if you floor it , CVT is too plain and boring

Is it possible for you.....(or for that matter any other person viewing this post) to post a video of Grande Paddle shift's Speedo meter with the following conditions :
- Start from rest.
- Floor the accelerator.
- Change Gears using paddle shift at 5000 RPM.
- Continue for at least 3 gear up changes.
- After that (using the paddle shift) perform 3 gear down changes. (Gear down at 3000 RPM in the current gear)

I know i am getting carried away with my wish list... but couldnt resist asking this.

Safety first : DO NOT MAKE THE VIDEO YOURSELF... ask your friend... and of course.. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS ON A BUSY road.....

Yes absolutely right I have booked basic 1.3L new Evolved 2014 City with navi/multimedia back camera, fog lights and the dealership said that they would be installed at the factory and would be mentioned in the car's sales invoice issued from Atlas Honda, however the additional two rear speakers which I told them to install in my new Evolved 2014 City would be installed at the dealership and won't be mentioned on the sales invoice!

Ok folks I need a bit of guidance on the following points :

1. Is there any advantage of booking on company's name ? I was told that one can get huge tax benefits by booking as a corporate client that is if company is registered as sales tax payer and the company is filing their taxes regularly.

2. will the sales tax be refunded or withholding tax ?

3.Can the bank draft/pay order be from someone's else name than the one who is booking in our case the company registered in my brothers name.

4. Lastly , can someone recommend a dealership in Lahore that is giving January 2015 delivery PBO for Gli MT. We have the bank draft (partial Payment) in hand right now but need confirmed delivery in the first half of Jan.

Hope to get clear answers from PW gurus thanks in advance
