Accepted that immobilizer is a fundamental security requirement for car, now that we know Toyota is not providing so please advise how can one secure their vehicle.

if there is no heads up display in Altis then what a foolish expectation they tend to make us by posting this wrong information here in this forum. it really hearts . Thanks God that its confirmed that there are paddle shifters as expectations was made.

Heads up display will be dealer installed and will be available as optional feature

Dont know the brand but touch and sound quality was very good compared to civics nav

@mubeenshahid looks like any aftermarket double din entertainment system might not be a plug n play/ slide-in option in case of a car without a stock nav system. I mean how is the trim around the car without a nav system? will aftermarket system can be fixed?

Dear all,
I have reasons to believe that there are some IMC (Indus Motor Company) sales representatives on this thread crowing about their substandard product. Please beware of them. The fact is that they have nothing to crow about. Their 2014 Corolla is a substandard product.

I went to a Toyota dealership in Islamabad yesterday afternoon and talked to a salesman there and he was trying to play up the positives of his substandard product like, 'sir jee aap road pay bohat secure hain IMC key Corolla kay sath, parts easily available hain, garee choree iss wajha say nahin hotee ky immobiliser nahin balkay iss wajha say k iss key clearance ziyada hay aur iss wajha say yay Afghanistan jatee hay choree ho kar.' Just listen to his nonsense. It was absolutely ridiculous. He further went on, 'sir jee JDMs kay parts available nahin, resale nahin unn key.' I replied with looking into his eyes, "Bhai Jaan, you have just lost a buyer and you are looking at him, I'm not going for your substandard product, you are fooling people. I've not looked at the car but I've made up my mind just because it lacks two features; an immobiliser and a passenger side airbag."

Just after that I went out of his dealership and swore that I won't visit any IMC (Indus Motor Company) dealership in the future.

Thanks for reading and watch out for the same mindset expressed by some IMC salesman masquerading as participants in this thread.

The Afghanistan stuff is a cockk and bull story out of Alice in Wonderland coming from Fairyland! He was trying to put his blame of not giving an immobiliser on the car thieves. I would call IMC not giving an immobiliser unforgivable. IMC even took out rear passenger seat-belts in her XLi last year and they had an excuse of slashing Rs. 70,000 behind that ridiculous offer. Totally immoral and irresponsible.

I think aftermarket system can be installed with a mount bracket no so sure

Yes thats what i wana ask will the navigation system which is preloaded in altis will fit in gli ? Or any after market brand ? Bcz i want the nav system n the one which toyota is offering in altis is preety decent
