@hj2006 what u say about xm2 made in thailand? Bcoz rite now UK made are not available in lahore so far i know. Pls also tell me who is the official or genuine importer of Michelin?

I haven't searched the market yet. Checked Michelin website but seems they don't have any distributor in Pakistan. Will also check prices of Pirelli Tires tomorrow. I suggest if you got spare time go visit Nela Gumbat wali tire shops and gather info from there too. I will also do that as soon as i get few hours free in day time.

From what i have learned till now Yokohama Advan db or Michelin XM2 energy (Uk make) are better than continentals.

Continental CC5 and Yokohama Advan DB can be compared with Michelin Primacy HP but not Michelin XM2 as both are superior as compared to XM2.. The problem with Michelin is non availability of UK Made presently, therefore Advan DB Made in Japan and CC5 Made in Malaysia are the best available choices

Installed UK made XM2 in my GLi around 2 weeks ago. Manufacturing date of tyres June 2014. They are easily available all over. Pindi dealer is 051 5585711. Primacy HP doesn't come in this size here.

I got it from J Rashid Neela Gumbad at a very special price bcoz of some terms and sorry i cant quote that here... u should get it around 9000-9500.. Mine were 2014 manufacturing 11th week.. Previously i was using Advan DB which everyone knows is a very noiseless and soft tire.. Continental CC5 is also quite noiseless and just as soft as DB.. and the steering now feels even more softer with Continental.. Both tires are also fuel efficient as i m getting same mileage.. Road Grip of Continental is good as well.. Id rate CC5 and Advan DB both equal in terms of fuel consumption, comfort and noise.. The added advantage CC5 has is its durability as Advan DB gets punctured easily and wears out quickly....

Checked with Yokohama official dealer (Speed Tires) in Faisal Town about Advan Db today. 195/65/15 (made in japan) are for Rs 9500/- each and 205/65/15 (Japan) are for Rs 10,200/- each. He is willing to take the Indus company tires for Rs 20,000/-

Haha. Bro he is ripping you off. Advan DB are max for 8200 each (mid 2014) and sale price of Indus tyres is 25000.
