You should have been opted for GLI if you have gone with bank leasing. The difference is just 1,900/- in monthly installment.

Bro ur advice is not bad. But I have a Rent a car bussines. Thats why I have chosed xli. As I have some bad experiences with gli in past. Specialy with power windows. Kids play with window buttons and it results in damaging the motors.

Bro its not just abt speed... its about comfort, new technology and additional features and why not
enjoy the best if someone can afford it... Lets not forget that both 1.3 and 1.6 are old engines that were in 10th gen Corolla too... whereas Grande has a new advanced Cvti engine that is powerful and fuel efficient as well... Few posts above a Gli owner said that he is getting 10 km/l whereas i m getting around 12 on my Grande... so which is better? a powerful engine with more fuel economy or a relatively underpowered engine with less fuel economy???
Dont wanna sound rude but if someone is so afraid of traffic conditions then he shud not buy Corolla at all...shud go for a JDM 660 cc

The engine is dual vvti. Its the transmission that is cvti.

Yeah i already got a smaller ride for crazy traffic hours which mostly last from afternoon till late evening, motorbikes make one's life hard as they enter in the gap between the cars and if they scratch you they escape before you can get out of the traffic light situation. Will definitely buy 1.5 or 1.6 engine if Indus offer any newer engine in that category anytime soon. For more features and comfort i can go for Audi A3 or C class as both are offered in smaller but latest technology engines.

Went to Toyota Defence - the sales guy was least bothered and looked sleepy, and just say "no altis 1.6 to show u the interior" (it's closer to home so went there). This is the breakdown he gave me:

registration 60,000
insurance 87,000

500,000 pay order at the time of booking

Apparently have to use an insurance company provided by them - that's weird @ 2.99% comprehensive.

They said they cannot provide a date, but later when I called Toyota central the salesgirl said the same but then said when u have the pay order the manager can tell u the date of delivery, so u can write the cheque for registration and insurance IN ADVANCE.

Can you guys that have bought the corolla recently comment.
If any of the members here know a good salesperson in either Toyota defense Karachi or Toyota central let me know.

Reg cost is too much. It is some 45K in Islamabad.

Insurance is too much also.

Get these things done yourself. Insurance is just a phone call away. For registration agents outside ETO office charge from 1,500 to 2,000 max if you cannot do it yourself.

Not at allllllllllllll .. Insurance tu inspection ke baad hoti hai .aur car reg. Car's invoice pe hoti hai ... loosk like he is trying to scam you
