In kpk mostly police n LEAs cars have jammers it means car ll stall off n on. I have exp myself my steelmate remote doesnt work when some police mobile with active jammer is parked nearby. I once walked up to them to turn off jammer for a while so that I can unlock n start my car.

My steelmate t8209s stopped working when cm kpk car was parked around 300 meters from my car ..the freakin remote wasnt working .. Waited for cm to leave ..

Yes bro. I'm facing a similar situation. I had PBO for February but till date my car has not even been invoiced. I called Indus and they said its due to production delays.

Altis cvti has less delivery time.Also they got a single remaining car on quota for February so fast delivery.If it was super white color they were gonna delivery in 10 days

Just returned from test driving the 1.8 - smooth and was quick to reach 120 km/h on Korangi roads IN KARACHI. I am shifting my opinion towards the 1.8 (not Grande), due to android thus wifi = Skype, keyless entry and most importantly the cvti engine. Below is the breakdown on the REGISTRATION COST. Can any of you that have got their corolla let me know what they paid - thanks.

FOR ALTIS 1.8 TILL DECEMBER 2015

LUXURY TAX 5,000
NON-FILER 12,000

TOTAL 63,950

Slipped my mind what this NON-FILER 12,000 cost is, will ask on Monday. Karachi guys, let me know how much you paid - thanks.

This is called miking the same cow more and more to squeez it dry. Multiple taxes. All non-filers soon will be made filers and made to pay income tax based on the assesment against the value of the vehicles they are buying.

I know what you mean The top line there's a TAX 3,200, then the 2% TAX on the vehicle cost then a LUXURY TAX so after three taxes there yet ANOTHER TAX of 12,000...RIDICULOUS

Depends which one is closer to home - something to consider. I found the staff at Toyota Southern and Defense (same owner) nice, but Southern is better as they're the ones that offer test drives.

I am going to be calling tomorrow to see which one can deliver the car I want, with the least amount of wait-time. But my guess is it'll be either Southern or Central.

Comparing the two trims that you want - go for the 1.6

I am going for the 1.8 altis (not Grande).

I don't know who all offers test drives, just that Toyota defense did not have 1.8 for a test drive and asked me to go to korangi, where I had already been a few days before as I found their staff, and showroom/service area to be bigger..more room to breathe, and think.
