Today was complete plan to install Multi-Steering, reverse cam and maps along with few small tweeks to keep the sweety with me for next 8years.

Multi-steering and maps postponed for next week - Me got a call from office, Hopefully next will complete the lingering plan.

Meanwhile: few of the shots with New Corolla.

Also this wrap you got done because of the foot marks, did ut require any alteration?

The command over English language has nothing to do with the quality of cars. Japan and Germany are the best examples.

Germans and Japanese people don't learn English at all. The medium of instruction in both the countries is in their respective mother tongues. Besides, German and English are sisters, for English is a Germanic language. Engineers in Japan are taught in Japanese and in Germany it is German.

                                  In our part of the world we speak English because being part of the British Raaj.  This is both fortunate and unfortunate at the same time, a kind of ambivalence.  English gives us, Indians and Bengalis a huge advantage over the others when we compete in the UK or USA in the field of education.  Command of English has got everything to do with education not quality of cars.  In Pakistan the medium of instruction of professional education is English and unfortunately the standard of education in Pakistan is well below that of International one very beautifully reflected in the quality of cars we produce.  Our government has also got everything to blame, for it is so complacent about the lives of the occupants of vehicles that it has not enacted any legislation addressing car safety.  Only one airbag in Corolla speaks volumes about the stupidity and complacency of Indus Motor Company about the lives of its users, given the fact that cars in Germany and Japan have airbags in the order of 10.  No immobiliser means your Corolla is a sitting duck for car thieves, a piece of cake so to speak!  All this makes me sick in the stomach and I feel throwing up. 

                             Talking about Japan.  It is a heck of a country where the percentage of engineers is the highest in the world.  That's why Japan is so scientifically advanced and their medium of instruction is Japanese.

There is no airbag and immobilizer in City but nobody talks about it ?

Only Honda Civic comes with two and Corolla Altis 1.8 variants with driver side airbags. In Suzuki airbag is not present in any variant, model, though their Balenos, Lianas and Swifts have immobilisers, but that is not a selling point for these cars and nobody talks about it, so targeting Corolla is nothing just venting of personal dislike and anger by those who like it, want it but afraid of buying and owning it.

Agree that govt has no regulatory mechanism in place to ensure car security and again it does not have to do anything with the knowledge of English.

Again knowledge and command of English is not essential to produce, assemble, manufacturer cars anywhere in the world.

I hope you understand, otherwise we can continue discussion forever.

Removing and re-installing these plastic parts is not advisable, they will start giving problems after sometime and lose their grips.

Thats what i thought. But it gets too dirty with foot marks. Any other remedy for it?

Also can you please tell me what is the delivery time of altis 1.6? Is it also one month now?

paper at few I saw 3M and other with new name but he said they are good thick ones will not get scratch/damage easily, from Khalid-bin waleed road - Karachi, yes all 4doors lower ends.

Multi Media Steering 16.5 K with delivery at home [from a fellow PW'er]. the wrap did not required any alteration.

Sir, agree while using the COLLINITE if have complete kit for it, fiber cloths and all, I am completely following you and other members - will post pictures next.

I haven't changed the wheels. I was getting the wheel arches of my Prius cleaned and detailed so had this rim taken off for that purpose and decided to get it on the Corolla and take a pic. Relax
