I am sure all of your social circle knows by now that you got a brand spanking new GLi. Parchee isn't needed anymore. Looks very illiterate and depicts typical taxi mentality. I have seen people preserving these parchees and white marker writings on the windscreen for years and years. LOL.

I thought may be shaapers on seats were this type but after your parchee, shaapers became just too mainstream. Toba astaghfaar.

Will keep the parchi for some time, it entertains my villagers.

I disagree. I am a motorist and I always prefer driving myself. Mere saath driver ho to wo saath wali seat par muft main khuaar he hota hai.

No, it was a gli. Last year my city was registered for the same price.

How can a new Gli be registered at ETO Islamabad for 36K? Can you please write the cost breakdown?
Here is the official fee breakdown.
Registration fee, 2% of invoice price = 0.02x1,772,000 =Rs. 35,440/-
Annual token = 384/-
Income tax = 2000/- for filer and 4000/- for non filer
Number plate fee = 1,000/-
Scanning fee= 550/-

Total: Rs. 39,374/- for filer and Rs. 41,374/- for non filer.

There is no airbag and immobilizer in City but nobody talks about it ?

Only Honda Civic comes with two and Corolla Altis 1.8 variants with driver side airbags. In Suzuki airbag is not present in any variant, model, though their Balenos, Lianas and Swifts have immobilisers, but that is not a selling point for these cars and nobody talks about it, so targeting Corolla is nothing just venting of personal dislike and anger by those who like it, want it but afraid of buying and owning it.

Agree that govt has no regulatory mechanism in place to ensure car security and again it does not have to do anything with the knowledge of English.

Again knowledge and command of English is not essential to produce, assemble, manufacturer cars anywhere in the world.

                                  I've heard of the phrase, 'two wrongs don't make one right' and after going through your argument of Honda and Suzuki having shortcomings, I see three wrongs coming into the picture as one right.  All three automakers are producing garbage with Toyota in the middle and Suzuki at the bottom. Atlas  Honda makes better cars than Toyota Indus.  At least they are trying.

To me the only solution to the problem is bust all of them, ban them and let quality import flow into the country from Japan, Germany and the UK so that the end-users get to own quality cars. I wonder why the local manufacturers are being allowed to produce garbage in the first place. They are simply not up to the task at hand, they are so incompetent and their engineering is rock bottom.

If quality imports are allowed into the country, no one will go for the locally assembled cars. All three will go out of business. They deserve this type of a lesson; you produce quality, you are in business, you produce garbage, you are kicked out of business.

Nops. Atlas is behind indus. I have 9th gen civic, it's barely 10k driven and is kept with utmost care. The rubbers all over the car have started to fall apart, it's seats are back aching, too much Road and wind noise because there is no isolation at all, lastly the plastics specially on doors have started to catch scratches and there is no foam in cloth on interior doors which then are hard as hell to keep elbow on.

I am not saying indus is miles ahead but they have atleast covered these basics. Which makes corolla really comfortable.
I agree with your point that these 3 are looting people and government should do something. We need more local competition and I hope in this upcoming auto policy some of the issues are addressed. Till then be happy on what ever you buy and hope for the best.

Idk, I tool my car papers and went up to him and he gave me like two challans, one worth 32k and the other worth 4 something k. He told me to deposit the cash in National Bank. After payment of the challans I returned him the paid receipts and he allotted a number and gave me the plates and the paper(not original paper, the one which you get before the original papers) Ive booked another Gli now(delivery in sept) and this time ill upload those paid receipts

Sorry if it's a repost. But Toyota is offering a new color in GLi I.e Flexin metallic just not that it's not Flexin mica but Flexin mettalic I wonder how would it look like on GLi
