Bhai gee, I am talking about high end Android unit like they have for Civic. There are many 25/30 thousand navi unit available in market for Corolla. All have pethatic sound quality, low end display and running Windows CE.

Yes.This is not the High End Android unit.I am still looking for reviews for this unit.Tracking world are offering full maps and rev.camera in this package.

Hmm..I agree with Abdullah and Autophile has made a good point also in this discussion.

For the 1.3 and 1.6 Corollas - 10w40 or even 20w40 is good for khi and lhr hot weather
For the 1.8 new engine - 10w30 is ideal and 5w40, also fine

That being said, in my opinion, for the first oil change at 1,000 km, there is no need to put a fully synthetic oil (5w30, 5w40) as the next oil change will be at 5,000 km anyway. 10w30 is fine in this regard, as we are only paying extra for 5w40 due to the VI (viscosity index) improver, polymers that make up synthetic oil.

END OF THE DAY it's the car owner's choice - just make an informed decision.

The reason that oil viscosities have gotten thinner is because bearing clearances have become smaller. Using thicker oils will interfere with oil flow and the oil pressure will increase. In a worn engine it may be okay to increase the viscosity of the oil because the bearing clearances have become larger" quoting from another forum.
Plus i was also confused about this oil thing. But after a considerable amount of search and info gathering im now using 5w30/10w30 in my Belta. And I'm satisfied.
The picture you've posted, the same description is given in beltas manual. And thus i can say, for me 10w30 is ideal. Best on fuel consumption and easier on the engine

Viscosity is temperature dependent in multi grade oils. In climates where the temperature regularly soars above 40C, anything below sae 40 is under specification.

The specification in the service book gives the inner bracket of specification. Any oil on or beyond those brackets on BOTH sides is just fine. Having said that, broader range oils like 5w50 are more prone to sheering due to high dependence on VIs. A 10w40 would be just right for our climate for the corolla IMO.

I booked a Grande Cvti today delivery should be before eid i hope so. I wanted to change the rims to 16 inch ones . At the dealership they quoted me 105000 for the ones they have in thailand with michelin tyres. They would adjust the tyres and original rims for 42000 rs. I didnt opt for that now i want some decent branded rims from lahore which is the place to get them and what profile should i go for in tyres.

I noticed that when speedo is at 80 km/hr, GPS shows 76 km/hr. Car is Altis 1.6, stock tires and Sygic navigation. I Googled and found that GPS speed is more accurate.

Common sense is a rare bird, while reference and research is abundant. If analogue meter cannot show 76 kms, GPS unit can. I saw needle exactly on 80 and 76 kms on the GPS. Common sense. No?

Yes, needle will be on 80. You can try it with analog based gps.

I had a picture in which car had a HUD. Speedometer was showing speed of 120kph but there was 117kph on HUD. If i find it i'll post here for you.
